Shouldn’t a boss try to rise above petty squabbles for the good of the organisation? I don’t buy that he does these things to get the best out of players, he’s just venting his own emotions and personality. Same as when he talks about himself it isn’t to take attention from the team, it’s because he has a huge ego.

Those players you mention are way back in the deep past, he’s got more and more angsty. Though there were rumours he fell out with Terry.

I think we should give Mourinho the season whatever by the way. And maybe these tactics do work. I was commenting on his personality more than anything else.
