The Game Is About Glory

Good stuff gents. I’m reflecting on your comments around boo boys and once I’ve finished, I’ll try and articulate my thoughts on the subject, hopefully adding something else to the conversation.

Cheers @DaveT316. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts, once you've had a chance to reflect.

Yes indeed, looking forward to your thoughts. I think it will be revisited for sure.

Enjoyed your tossers chat again. The discussion on abusing players and booing was interesting. Although there may be some correlation between players getting the majority of abuse and their ethnicity, i don't think it is as strong as was suggested personally. Of course it isn't right to abuse any players, but i'm sure there have been cases of caucasian players getting unfair abuse relative to others as well. I think the point made about the shift in expectation from fans is also relevant, but doesn't excuse nobbish behaviour from fans

Cheers @Modrical. My question about BAME players wasn't planned, so what you hear is us working it through in real time and the reactions are genuine. We talk about plenty of white players who were on the receiving end of abuse too, so we certainly don't think it is the only factor.

I must admit it did make me check myself, I was worried for a minute, but after consideration I conclude I'm just a clam to everyone.

Also, I thought you were bang on regarding left footed players.

Episode 9
