Jose needs to learn that against crap sides you play your more technical players, you cant play Sissoko in a midfield with another defensive midfielder because we just give up too much possession. Its counter productive

After the GLC miss I was resigned to us not scoring.

Yet again ground it out, but we cant keep doing this, or can we?

Top of the League for 2 hours for the fist time in donkeys. Come on you WOlves

Much easier seeing a game out without Aurier (though Moura did a good impression). Loved that clearance from Dier. All that’s needed.

Performance wasn’t great but we fudging won. Dug out 9 points from 9 against Burnley, Brighton and West Brom. That will do. We were better second half, got a bit of control.

To be fair, they had few real chances. Hugo made one save, the one that hit the post wasn’t a chance. We defended very well and have done recently which is massive given how many we’ve been conceding and how the rest of the league is defending.

We will need to do better in the upcoming games but we won’t be playing sides set up to stop us playing.

Defence was really good today. Hojbjerg was good. The rest were ordinary at best. Son and Bale were particularly brick.

@milo Dier for me. Another excellent performance from him.

How many times have we brick the bed in that position. Today was the opposite of bricking the bed. Be thankful for that and let’s look forward.

when we play the 'better' teams, it'll be a whole lotta open, and we'll probably go counter attack
