Very ordinary performance. Delighted with 3 points but we only deserved 1.

Toby, Dier and Reguilon were excellent and Hojbjerg did well. Aside from that it was distinctly ordinary. Son worked hard but was brick really. Kane worked hard and brickhoused the last 6 minutes. It was like Lamela possessed him.

Will take it. We managed the last 15 mins well which we don’t usually do but we need GLC and Bale fully fit for the big games coming up.

Wow it's not easy following this team. 3 important points, 2nd in the league.

Interested to see if Mourinho rips into the refs performance.
 
@milo Toby for the cool that most of the team seemed to lack, and that sweet ball to Reguilon. Reguilon and Hojbery also poss MOM.

Glad it wasnt just me then. He hardly gave us a thing all night. He even got the penalty wrong. Too proud to admit he had made a mistake
 
That ref has made himself the most famous person in this match. That is the same stupid kind of decision that cost us the game against Sunderland when Rodwell if I remember correctly took down Dembele in a similar manner. The ref then was Jon Moss who was coincidentally the VAR ref today.

The standard of refereeing is poor. That said - unpopular thought - I thought Kane was shiite today and had the wrong mentality.

As was shown, the ref can still override it, VAR was clearly in his ear saying he’d dropped a gonad*.

He only went to the screen to check on how close he was and how likely he could get away with an excuse.
