Joe Rodon

Pretty much the perfect window!

Just to check: is it pronounced:
- "Rod-on"
- "Row-don" (with "Row" being what you do with a boat, rather than "Row" as in the conversation you have with your wife)

International clearance? Is that just for UEFA?

We are delighted to announce the signing of Joe Rodon on a permanent transfer from Swansea City, subject to international clearance.

Edit:

https://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/policies/player-registration/international-clearance

In accordance with FIFA Regulations, international clearance is required for any player over the age of 10 who is seeking to register for a club in England and has previously been registered for a club abroad (including the other Home Associations), or who is a foreign national seeking to register for the first time in this country.

We haven't spent that much. About £60m net? We've done some seriously good business for that amount.
The thing I’ve most surprised and pleased about is the increase in wage bill, we’ve brought in a few first team quality players with very little being recouped. It’s going to make a massive difference in our ability to be consistent / change games from the bench and hopefully rotate to avoid or cope better with injuries. Over to you now Jose, can’t say you haven’t been backed.

We need to sell a few to balance things out but our squad is getting on a bit now, so we'll have a few players who we can try to shift in the next couple of windows before their value plummets.
