CANCELLED ***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Leyton Orient***

Can’t we set up an exhibition on Fifa, live stream it. Officials are more consistent, crowd noise is better and we will probably be more entertaining and win comfortably. Downside is I think Tyler will be commentating.

1-0 Spurs

Pevsner o.g.

Not sure that getting loanees from Neasden FC was a good idea for them. Even their manager, Ron Knee, is ashen-faced.

2-0 Spurs, a Pevsner back pass ricocheted off the post to the back of one-legged net-minder Wally Foot and behind the line. We're showing a class against a team largely made of of players from the Tesco North Circular League.

The crowd outside the stadium (Sid & Doris Bonkers) have fallen silent. What price loyalty ?

I’m just waiting to find out who your favourite Spurs player is.

As the first half enters 2 minutes stoppage time (or running repairs to 'Baldy' Pevsner's toupee), Hart stops a certain goal from a deflected throw-in, getting the O's their first corner.

In a surprise move, Wally Foot arrives late for the resulting goal-mouth melee. With a single bound (shurely 'leg', Ed), he rises majestically to head a goal, before landing on Pevsner's toupee. Luckily this will be repaired at half-time, as that was the last action before referee Blind Pugh blew for the break.

The second half begins, the only change being Pevsner being replaced by Banana Hislop - a recent signing from the Greek Street Pressers. The other new signing Paul 'Dolphin' Merton was cup-tied by turning out for Dial Arch Pie-Keys.

I'd like to understand why the rules aren't just automatically being applied here. They had lots of covid cases so cant fulfil the fixture. We therefore go through. Its simple. No thought needed

Now, being charitable, we'll probably give them a commitment of a pre-season fixture with a decent squad for a year or two, but that shouldnt stop the rules being applied
