Bale. Could we? Would we? Should we?

One can only assume the lack of announcement so far is that Levy is now renegotiating the wage %. Would be classic Levy. Well he’s here now you may as well agree...
As I have said numerous times, it will not be announced until earliest tomorrow, possibly Monday, as Saturday is probably not the best time for this type of announcement.

As an aside, Bale coming is perfect for Jose's credibility in the dressing room.

Any doubts players might have had, not wanting to buy into whatever he's telling them to do kinda fall by the wayside when he's able to convince someone who's won four Champions Leagues, four Club World Cups, three European Super Cups, two LaLigas, one Copa del Rey and two Spanish Super Cups to sign.

It's not like Bale didn't have other offers, so the Jose is past it/doesn't understand the modern game narrative is now a harder sell. Bale and the best LB in Spain are seemingly convinced he can do a job, both winners. So our lot may need to start looking a bit more inwards.

I'd be surprised if the deal for Bale hinged on who the manager is tbh

Will be about the money more than anything

Edit- weren't the early reports about Levy enquiring himself when negotiating the Rebullion deal?

..or...they signed thinking about bhow things will be post-Jose:p

Only joking! You raise some fair points, but Jose will HAVE To show his mettle on the training ground now imo (and less bs talk about having 'too many players' when a few months ago he was complaining about the opposite; flip-flopping to the media wont make him look good amongst the squad imo...)
