Have to wonder how we can lower our standards to the level of the team were playing against
I assume we went there in pedal bike hence why we looked tired
 
It doesn’t matter who the manager is, we always put in turgid performances in these types of arenas in this competition. I’ve seen these performances in the EL under Jol, and under Poch just seems players can’t lift themselves for it. The magic of the cup eh:rolleyes:.....

We don't have players who can take people on one to one to open up space. No Modric. No Dembele. No Eriksen. No pace and decent crossing from full backs. All made worse by a chronic lack of mivement and understanding from our attacking players.
 
I think we do, GLC, Kane, Son, Lamela, Alli, they’ve all done it with skill in the past, Kane and Son with pace too.

Sissoko can charge straight through as well.
