Mauricio Pochettino

Pochettino's main weakness is he can only work with young players. Remember, he failed to get the best out of big-name players like Adebayor, Soldado and Llorente at Spurs. So, he will struggle if he goes to big clubs like Juventus who are full of big-name players.

Hahah this has to be a joke

I went right off him when he talked about leaving before the champions league final.

Would hate it if he got a second chance with us.

Makes no sense for him to come back .. he's better off being like VDV turn up at the club every now and then, say a few nice words, get a cheer.

It is very interesting no one has gone for him, and quite a few "junior" managers have been appointed

it's possible he's already agreed somewhere but is keeping quiet about it as the current incumbent doesn't know they are gonna get the sack

Juve going straight to Pirlo makes me think thats more likely

Everyone assumes that he is waiting for one of the real big clubs but that's not necessarily the case. For all his wonderful work Im not convinced he is best suited to handle the pressures of managing an elitist club, and with his genuine/honest approach to things he might not be ruthless enough to survive. His football ethos isn't necessarily going to work for a club filled with established 'stars' either, once we began to move away from young hungry players to those more established there seemed to be more question marks (granted we had the wonderful CL run). Personally think the German league would be well suited to him....

In some ways the club he has ruled out is his best match. Barcelona pride themselves on their system and patience. Among the elite clubs they are the one that might give him time.

However, this reputation goes back to when they didn't do sponsorships.

I see that Pochettino has backtracked on those Barcelona comments a smidgen... let’s see if they find him any more appealing a signing than Eriksen...

I know that he's said he'd never go to Barca but could Bayern get him sacked and his next job?

Barca need to start from scratch. They have alot of older players who will be moving on / retiring soon. They need a manager with experience in building a project. Poch is that man and will have more resources than what he got here.
