Manager Sack Watch

Reminds me of our situation with Poch in November. Very sad but best for all concerned - everyone involved needs a change.

Decent shout but I think there was more animosity in Poch’s situation. For various reasons, he got fudged by the club and then worsened that fudging with his behaviour. Howe and Bournemouth always seemed to have a good relationship that has probably just run its course. I like the guy and hope he does well.

If he learns to organise a defence in his next job, I’d like to see him replace Jose in 2-3 years when the inevitable meltdown comes.

How the fudge does Carol Vorderman look so much better today than she did 30 years ago?

Possibly, bit of a no-win though really, expected to win the league and if you don't your a failure. Expected to win the CL, anything else and you're gone.

If Poch won the league and got to the CL knock out stages and got sacked same as Sarri would that add or detract from his stock?

unless he needs the money I’d give it a swerve!
it’s a lose lose

That’s going to be the expectation wherever he goes now.

He has to go somewhere big and win, if he doesn’t the narrative will be that he was in the right place at the right time with us, having inherited most of the players who performed well under him.

I think he just needs to get the trophy monkey off his a back, so if he can a reasonably easy platform to do so I think he will - Juve would be a sensible next move. If he fails to win the league then his next job would have to be to another challenger rather an established elite side.
