My Saints supporting mate did say he thought Hojbjerg was a similar player to Sissoko... he said a quintissential Hojbjerg experience was winning a tackle on the edge of his own box, sprinting forward with the ball, playing a simple pass a couple of yards behind his teammate, eventually receiving the return, and then blasting a shot into row Z from outside the area
fudgekkkkk that, no, no NOOOOO.

One Sissoko is far too much two of them and I'm done. [emoji30]

Maybe that’s why he gets so many second balls as their form his passes and he is ideally placed

This had been a disappointing season for us and this draw with Palace only proves it. We had beaten Palace in our last 9 matches and they had lost their last 7 matches as well. Yet in a typical Spurs fashion, we managed to drop points to Palace. At least Chelsea helped us finish in 6th place and qualify to the Europa League by beating Wolves in their last match. Credit to Kane for the goal but really expected him to score more after that. Instead, he went missing for the rest of the match.

So, we finished the season in 6th place which is outside the top 4 for the first time in 5 seasons. That means we have failed to qualify to the CL after doing so for the last 4 seasons. But at least we remain in top 6 and have qualified to Europe for the 11th season in a row.

We started the season poorly but have shown promises under Mourinho as we are unbeaten in our last 6 matches of the season, winning 4 and drawing 2. Just imagine, if we had beaten Sheffield United, Bournemouth and Palace, we could have finished above Chelsea in 4th place and qualify to the CL. Instead those dropped points away from home cost us dearly.

We badly need to improve our away form and results next season. We have only won 4 away matches in the league this season, which is among our worst away record ever. Let's hope Mourinho will use all his experience to improve our away form and help us win at least 1 trophy next season.
