The Official 2019/20 Premier League Thread

No more then that imo, and for the money they would want it would be no from me.

Agreed. I’ve watched him a fair bit this season. Goes missing in too many games and is definitely in the average band for me.

His behaviour in lockdown also suggests he’s stupid.

Grealish ran the show!
He is better than anything we have in those positions, would be great with Kane et al.
Dele might need to pull his socks up.
We won’t pay the money.

He flatters to deceive on many occasions for me, big fish in a little pool at Villa. And for the money Villa would want it would be a no from me.

A comment on Grealish from an unsung Premier League XI for this season:

Jack Grealish (Aston Villa)

Grealish divides opinion, and it’s true that sometimes he can be guilty of holding onto the ball too long. Overall however, his performances in a dysfunctional team have been hugely impressive. With one match remaining, he has created 74 chances from open play, the second most in the league behind De Bruyne. To put that in further context, the only players to create more than 74 open-play chances in a season in the past five years are Mesut Özil, Christian Eriksen, Roberto Firmino, Eden Hazard and Alexis Sánchez. Not only that, Grealish has won more free kicks than anyone else in the league by a street, and he has a combative edge too — only five players have won more duels this season.

From our point of view we could have done with United winning. Chelsea now only need a point to secure CL football which i can see them getting at Anfield, then it will be 'feet up' on Sunday v Wolves
