Coronavirus

I did a bit of vj work back in the day, on a mini festival gig I was working shifts with a mate, or supposed to be, he disappeared into a tent an hour before the first band and did some ketamine, turned up about 14 hours later

I've noticed a similar difference between types of supermarket. Places like Tesco have been absolutely rinsed for those items, the M&S I was in yesterday was business as usual.

There's a clear class divide between those who do and don't panic IMO.

Totally agree. Tesco shoppers are usually the sort of people who watch day time tv are on tax credits will have low intelligence and become easily fearful.

I'm an interesting case because I fit that category but through a desire to better myself and an amazing work ethic when I was younger I moved up, aspirations are a good thing.

My son is middle class despite coming from a working class father(the accent is a give away) he has just rolled his eyes at all the panic buying. Then said yesterday perhaps we should do a larger shop then normal this Friday just in case it turns out to be something.

I think this virus is a little like Christmas in it gives chavs something to talk about and makes them feel like they are part of society.

The wife always makes me say Merry Christmas to the drunk homeless people on Christmas day but the rest of the year we can walk past them without saying hello.(Christmas morning it is a tradition to go for a walk along the seafront)

Chances are she is correct. Am I right in saying there are no recorded issues with corona affecting kids and babies? They can carry it, but it does not seem to hit them at all.
That we know of and based on what has been reported. It still doesn’t exactly put my mind at ease as there is still a lot we don’t know about this virus.

It's quite bad how 3 Leicester players have it and nobody cares.
Arteta gets it and talk of the season being suspended.

I genuinely believe that games would have been postponed already if City were top of the league.

I keep hoping my work will tell us all to work from home... no joy yet.
I said to my colleague today "are you worried about coronavirus?" and he said "no, it's just hype, nothing to worry about"

8 minutes later he was marched out of the building by HR because he'd admitted his Malaysian in-laws were staying with him...

Leicester players not confirmed that’s why. They just had mild symptoms of colds so have been removed as a precaution. Arteta definitely has it following a test.
