Everybody dance now!

We have been badly affected by injury problems this season, especially injuries to Kane and Son. We are struggling to score goals without them. We will need inspiration from somewhere in this match. Let's hope we will put up a good performance and get a convincing win to move up the league table in the top 4 race.

When will Dele attempt his first unnecessary and unsuccessful nutmeg of this game.

1st touch of the ball
2nd-5th touch of the ball
6th-10th touch of the ball
11th-20th touch of the ball

Yeah cut out all this fancy stuff, keep passing sideways and back then we can really crucify him, Every game is a new adventure to find out who is next player for the hate list.

He can still be a progressive and hugely effective player whilst cutting out the frequent nutmegs, which for the vast majority of the time are both unnecessary and prove unsuccessful.

On the very rare occasions his nutmegs come off, he either gets to dribble for a few yards before doing a simple pass or a covering defender prevents him from even collecting the ball.

I can count on one hand the amount of times he has pulled off a nutmeg that was actually beneficial to the team. And in his time with us he must have attempted over 100 nutmegs by now.......

I fancy JM will really turn the heat up in this one and go really attack minded. To some extent rather like his first few games in charge. I know we don't have any strikers but we still have quite a few attack minded players - we just need to play (most) of them in their favoured positions. Given our injuries and lack of options , I would go:

................................lloris................................

Aurier............Sanchez......Toby............Tanganga

.....................Winks........GLC......................

..........................NDombele.........................

Lucas.....................Dele....................Hey Hey Little Stevie

Aurier with licence to get forward - and pull his crosses back to the edge of the penalty area

Lucas and Stevie to stay wide and really press their full backs hard

Dele to stay central and play as a "false 9"

Winks and GLC to form a double pivot with NDombele released to have a roving role up closer to Dele with little defensive duty

We need to go for this one full tilt. No Excuses

Gg first case of covid 19? Must be fever affecting his brain.

If JM somehow conjures a win from this match , he really is a magician!

Given the circumstances of:

Injuries to Kane, Son, Sissoko, Sess, and Foyth

Lack of fitness of Lamela and NDombele

Agedness of Toby and Verts

Brokenness of Dier and Wanyama

Defensive naivety of Aurier

Lack of form of Dele and Davies

And Alledged Unreadiness of Parrott

I think it stretches the bounds of credulity that anyone could set up a free flowing entertaining team in these circumstances. Three points would be a miracle. Our one hope is that Wooves have a poor reaction after their game on Thursday. How many games is it they have played this season? Why aren't they shattered and injury plagued? We need a complete overhaul of our medical staff and fitness personnel.

But...
We’ve got Lloris at the back..

Would drop Moura, seen enough of him killing attack after attack

He is certainly well out of form . But by playing him wide on the right hopefully he will find a bit more room and play himself back into form - or at the very least not be so integral to our lack of a functioning attack.

We have to win all our remaining matches to have any chances to finishing in top 4.

Really??? Win all our remaining matches to have any chance of finishing in top 4????

If we won all our remaining games we'd more than likely finish 3rd (we'd have 73 points, meaning Leicester would need to take 23 points out of 30 to match us...and they'd already have dropped 3 points given we'd have beaten them)

I’m not sure your rational and measured views are suitable in the current climate.

Today we mustn’t lose, yet a draw doesn’t do us many favours.
