Champions League Final plans for us stay at home fans.

I live in the Cheshire villages. Fully anticipating 'friends' will be throwing their normal party type thing for this. However, as you might expect support will not be for Spurs. My wife has already warned them the boys and I will be in a corner on our own.

Take grenades with you

Sorry mate! Nailed your colours to the mast right there! No sympathy :p

Could he get / did he have tickets for the games?

I’m 99% sure I won’t be able to get a ticket for the match. So I’ll basically be heading to Madrid on my own to watch it in a bar with other Spurs fans who’ve done the same. Whereas I could go back to UK and go out with my mates and watch it with them.

If I had a ticket for the game it would be a no brainer!

Same boat for me. Had options of getting to Madrid (albeit v.expensive when I double-up for daughters flight too). But neither of us have a chance of a match ticket. So it's a very long flight and expensive hotel to be in an expensive square soaking up the atmosphere. It'll be amazing no doubt, but having been to Madrid it ain't a cheap city to drink in all day.

Without a ticket, it has to be WHL for me, amongst as many like-minded fans as poss.

Just hope they don't fudge up the on-sale process as it'll leave so many fans short. It's going to sell out, I've no doubt, so don't agree with the idea of putting 20k on sale in each phase to gauge interest. That just means 3 opportunities for the wheel of doom to screw everyone over. It'll be carnage.

Just do it as per home game sales... ST > OH+ > OH > Gen Sale. Simple.

That looks exactly like the tory councillor who got re-elected, and was hanging around the polling station. It would be funny if it wasn't so true...

At the moment it looks like I'm Billy no mates.
1. Husband has ticket so will be in Madrid
2. ST holding son will be driving his train around the Scottish Central belt, avoiding the score, as no one will do a swap with him
3. Daughter feels if she watches Spurs on TV, we will lose

I'm going to be seeing it at the Tottenham pub in Oslo (Bohemen). There's a big music festival in Oslo that day, so will use that to pass the time on the day. Will be excruciating.

I somewhat randomly happened upon the Bohemen earlier this year (I think it was the 2-1 win vs Watford at Wembley). I have to say that it’s a brilliant place for a Spurs fan to watch football!!

Anyone on here in LA and with a good recommendation for somewhere to watch it? ‘Luckily’ my work is sending me away the day before the game and I will be stuck in an airport hotel. I know there’s an LA Spurs Supporters Club and I’ll certainly look to get to their pub, but it’s quite a long way (25 miles or so) which could equate to an expensive cab in LA traffic.

i wanted to watch the game with my old man, he was at the Lane for the 1962 semi against benfica and went to Feyernood a year later as a 16 year old on his own to see us win the cup winners cup, different times eh. Sadly, I already booked my trip back to blighty in June already so will have to FaceTime with him while watching the game in sacramento with the missus and a couple of mates. KO at 12pm here so few more hours of drinking time post-match!

I'll be watching it live at 5am in Melbourne. No way could I stay awake drinking that late and I prefer watching games sober anyway. Will be the best day of my life if we win and it'll be a long day of celebrating!

I didn't know how to react after the Ajax semi, I ended up toasting Spurs with a shot of tequila at 10am. No idea why but it seemed a good idea at the time.

I'll be at The Star casino on the Gold Coast from 11pm. It's the official Gold Coast Spurs bar and the Gold Coast Liverpool bar, they are expecting up to 2000 people at the venue as there are literally thousands of British and Irish backpackers on the coast at any one time. Ex-Spurs player Don MCcalister comes along with us but hopefully the club will sort him a ticket at Madrid (his wife is trying to get him one for his birthday, hopefully THFC will sort him)

If you want an English pub replete with drunks and EDL members wearing “free Tommy Robinson” t-shirts there is the rooster and Bull on Lincoln Blvd. Or you could go to Santa Monica to ye Olde Kings Head (a nicer pub). PM me if you want to go to the King’s as I might be able to get you a table.
