Bears off to a good start with a 2 wicket victory over Somerset, Jeetan Patel hitting 43 off of 36 at then end of the innings.

Lancs v Warwicks this Thursday
 
Where's Greg when you need him? Bears hammer another team, dream start to the season, would be 4 wins from 4 if it wasn't for the weather.

Ian, what's going on with Lancs this season? It's like a completely different team
 
Last year no one gave us a prayer and took us lightly for most of the season, being champions means we are there to be shot and and I'm afraid we've been found out. I would take third bottom now! It's not good that's for sure.
 
Got my first win today in our second league game, I only got 1 as we battled to 110 all out, thought here we go again but my new spinner took 3 for 13 (he looked brick in the nets?) and my new seamer 11.3 overs 4 maidens 5 for 14 on debut, bowled em out for 60.
 
Holy smokes I love De Villiers, just hit 37 of 9 balls in the IPL. Hit Steyn for 23 in an over going 62464. Amazine stuff.
 
I have lost it, I seriously have forgotten how to bat!

Lost the toss again today on a green top, we were inserted and made 115.

Bowled them out for 49, their skipper what a nob, he couldn't handle the chat and wound himself up so my lads took great pleasure in giving him a send off when his middle stump was removed (I think I told em where the fudging stairs were), oh he didn't like that. Tosser.
 
Good partnership by Chanderpaul and Samuels 100 so far. At least they're making a game of it. How many tests in this series?

Windies decline has been dramatic. They are now closer to Bangladesh than the rest of the Test nations.

Put up a decent fight in this match though.

The South Africa series is the big challenge this Summer. Could be epic.
