I had to go into a shop a few days ago and I remarked how it absolutely stank of urine; then I realised it was the old bloke at the end of the aisle that stank.

That’s one of the main reasons I went veggie last year. Was getting fed up of all the gristly bits.

Edit: just to be clear, if I’ve got the penis and wrinkled scrotum of a 90 year old corpse in my mouth, then I usually like to know about it and be able to savour the moment. Wasted enjoyment if you’re just washing it down unknowingly with random farm offal.

The Fall were great, Smith was undoubtedly a bit of a taco but also a great one off musician whose had a massive influence.

Sometimes they were, sometimes he was. At other times they could be just about the best band in the world and he could be all you’d want in the frontman of that band.

You never knew what you were going to get - that was part of the joy of it.
