I hope we play in the same sort of style that we played against Madrid, I think we can get a lot of chances to score against Liverpool by letting them come to us. We can rest players against West Ham, so I wouldn't change too much. Dele to come back in for Llorente. Bring Davies back in, move Dier in to midfield in place of Winks.

Out of that XI I'd change Trippier for Aurier and Winks for Sissoko.

With Winks and Eriksen we can out football their midfield (Henderson and Can are poor). The Key is to bring energy, but tactical discipline to this game. Liverpool are an inferior version of Dortmund, so we need to bring the type of game we brought to the Dortmund CL game on Sunday.

During the last couple of seasons they have out pressed us and out run us, however with Poch's continuing maturity in terms of tactics, I think this year we can out smart them and allow them to come on to us more by being more compact and more patient.

Once we do break up the play it will all be about quick transitions through midfield and onto the two forward players and the supporting wingback.

The main reason I would play Sissoko again is because Liverpool will likely have Moreno at left-back. Moreno likes to get forward and leaves a lot of space behind him; Sissoko and Aurier working in tandem exploited that very well against Madrid and if we play counter-attack again (really hope we do) then I think that'd be a major strength for us down the right.

Their likely team is:
-------------Mignolet
Gomez--Matip--Movren--Moreno
-------------Henderson
---------Wijnaldam---Can
Salah-------Firmino------Coutinho

Again, I would back Aurier and Sissoko not only to handle them defensively down our right flank, but cause Liverpool problems too.

@Notmegov

I didn’t dine out on my emphatic OMT for that team that ‘Arry does stuff with. I called Sissoko having it right off in Madrid. I’ve made my peace with the Gods.

But this... this just gets you, me, the rest of us back to square one.

I HOPE YOU ARE HAPPY

The bin dippers seem confident in giving us a spanking. I really hope we give these a good hiding.
