Why Rose isn't on Spurs' 2018 calendar...

Tottenham v Bournemouth (15:00 BST)

Pochettino addresses the big question on the minds of Spurs fans... if Danny Rose is not leaving then why isn't he on the club's official 2018 calendar?

The Spurs boss reckons even Rose wanted to know why he wasn't on it...

"He came to see me and said 'Gaffer, why aren't I on the calendar?' I said you were in Central Park. It's not a big issue," says the Argentine.

There you go then.

I suspect the team he'll start tomorrow will have the team away at Madris in mind.

With that in mind i think we'll start tomorrow with:

Lloris

Alderweireld, Sanchez, Vertonghen

Trippier, Dier, Winks, Davies

Eriksen, Alli

Kane

I think he'll then bring in Dembele instead of Winks (if Dembele is fit) and play Son for the suspended Alli for Madrid away.
It wouldn't surprise me if he keeps Aurier back for Liverpool and gives Trippier both games; he might want Aurier to come back even more motivated for Liverpool when we'll likely need his pace, tenacity and bursts forward. Alternatively, he might start Aurier tomorrow and bring Trippier in on Tuesday (he might not trust Aurier's temperament over there and might want him to keep proving he can be trusted in such environments for a while now.)

Let's hope we can get an early goal and be at least two goals up by the 60th minute so we can concentrate on controlling the game whilst using our pace on the break (Sissoko and GKN).

I go for us to win 3-0; Kane, Dier and Alli.

COYS

First thought was "Hmmm ... auto-ramen, that sounds like a decent idea," but then ... THIS!

0-9, Martin Tyler with all three.
