Nice. So you threw out one of Poch' best forte that of man management. He can handle anyone.

He handles who he chooses to......is there anyone at Spurs right now with a character anything like this Keita Balde chap?

Poch likes good lads who do as they are told

Poch handles whoever is thrown at him. anyways this keita thing is apparently dead now.

Jesus, hes not the messiah - Some people think every players ability increases ten fold under him, and any issues just magically disappear as soon as Poch starts coaching them. Thats simply not the case, hence why a few signings Poch has made have been shipped off very quickly...
And who, pray, is the messiah for you?? He as improved a good % of the players under his management the ones that did'nt are a odd ones. Overall he is doing a fantastic job.

You said its fine if the player has attitude problems, because Poch will take care of it. You couldnt be more wrong, he is very selective about players signed and they have to have the right attitude because its all about squad harmony and anyone who doesnt toe the line is shipped out sharpish. He doesnt sign bad boys/trouble makers and believe hes the one to change their ways. No one has said he isnt doing a fantastic job but you need to check your expectations of what he can do for a player....

He was linked strongly with West Ham earlier on in the window - Lazio accepted the bid but player turned down the move - Rumoured to be joining Juve for free next year.

He is doing a fantastic job, no doubt.

Part of that is getting rid of players with a poor attitude. Remember the exodus during his first season in charge. Several have left since too and when Pochettino's had enough of a player for whatever reason they're out.

Another part of that is signing players with the right attitude. Look at our successful signings under Pochettino. Not a single player with a reported attitude problem among them. Also look at who we haven't signed. A bunch of players linked with reported attitude problems, we've seemingly stayed away.

Pochettino is great. But taking players with attitude problems and turning things around hasn't been a large part of his MO. He did succeed with Dani Osvaldo at Espanyol. Then got burnt by the same Osvaldo at Southampton, swiftly got rid and never looked back. Since that experience I can't think of any examples.

Edit: I have no ideas about Balde and his reported issues.

This one isn't happening now according to JJetset, he was the player he was referring to with the Italy hints.
