The failed medical would explain him not signing and the reasons not really ever being given however. Unlike the porno twins at Weat ham we are very good at keeping these sorts of things private and not ruining a players future career. It is fully possible that another club will not discover the same issue or take the same opinion of it, so much better to keep the results private.

Got told he failed because of his heart and after we had a youth team player collapse our insurance is really tough on such things.
Was told it was the same problem that a few black african players have had.

That was the official line, but it seemed a little far fetched. Would we really have decided not to do a deal for a promising young player at a good price over the sake of having to wait 6 months for him to join? (especially considering that he would probably have played little for us in that period anyway). Additionally if that were the case then surely we would've gone in for him again at the end of the season when his contract was up and either agreed a fee with Fulham or gone down the tribuneral route. Our standard wage budget blows Celtic's out of the water, so if we'd been in for him then we would've got him.

Not true. He might have rEF or pEF but when physicians can't agree if reduced ejection fraction begins at 40% or 45%, who decides when rEF becomes an issue?

Some ITK suggesting that this one is close to being done - the guy was apparently spot on about the Sanchez transfer as well. However, this guy is also some rando on Twitter (@hotspur83, for anyone wondering), doesn't even have a profile picture and talks in that typical ITK style ('your patience will be rewarded', etcetera, etcetera), although thankfully he seems less cryptic about his predictions.
Again, a bit confused about this one - didn't he have a heart condition that needed monitoring? A high-intensity system would put that at more risk of flaring up, I'd imagine. Moreover, what does this mean for Janssen (if @hotspur83 is actually being truthful, of course)?
Edit - this Twitter egg is also going all out by saying that we're going to have *six* incomings in total, including Sanchez - two for the future (like Diop and Foyth) and four first-teamers. fair play to him, he's not hiding or being conservative with his information, at least.

That's the type of old school made up fanciful ITK that I've missed hearing and never ever happens....
Setting aside Poch's comments of only 4 incoming, this doesnt feel entirely unbelieveable, even in a zero (or close to zero) net-spend world. Depending on what you believe the fees were, it looks like we might get a bit over £100m coming in from:
Walker: £45m upfront
Bentaleb: £16m
NJie: £6m
Fazio: £3m
Wimmer: £15m
Sissoko: £20m (hopefully)
And then incomings mainly based on the rumoured names:
Sanchez £28m excl add-ons
Gazzaniga: £2m
Diop: £10m
Foyth: £10m
Barkley: £25m
AN Other: £20m - £30m (Aurier, Balde, Dembele, Sessegnon etc)
...you get to a similar number. I know there are different views however I'd hope that the final name would be someone who could beat a man in/around the box

Ditto. It might mean the door for Janssen if it does happen but I do think Dembele has a higher ceiling than Janssen.
The heart thing is obviously a concern but obviously not a big enough one that Celtic and previously Fulham stopped him playing.
Sanchez + Dembele + Barclay/Martial for the first team,
Sessegnon (x2) + Foyth + Sancho for the squad would be a great window.
