I disagree. Lamela in for Eriksen would fundamentally decrease our creativity.

Why? Lamela consistently creates goal scoring opportunities for his team mates and has consistently racked up comparable creative stats to Eriksen over the time they have both played for us. He has things wrong with his game but creativity is not one of them - If we find a more creative player than Lamela to compete with Eriksen in this new formation then we'd have done very well and probably wouldn't be holding on to them for very long.

They are very different players IMO and players who compliment each other well.... Lamela is probably more likely to slip in a final pass to put one of our players one on one with the keeper in a central position. Whereas Eriksen is the better player when it comes to knitting our defence and attack together.

That is where we differ.
If Kane was injured you would say play Janssen, that is our cover, but then who do we have on the bench?
Ah you say Son, but that is why I said quality cover. Against Wycombe I thought Son did well but he was often out of the box and forcing Sisdoko and GKN to lift the ball high to each other, which was easy for their defence to cope with.
Whether we win trophies will depend on goals and game changers, we could do with some competition in selection in these areas.
Ahh, you see that´s the point. We DO HAVE cover, but you, among others, consider them not good enough. So you want another cover. But what if that cover also fail, in your point of view? How many cover do you think is needed, to minize the risk to a level that you consider as resonable?

And takning about risk, that is one of the fundamentals in risk management. "What is the likeliness that a failure will occur?" And the fans don't really need to bother about "likeliness", every tiny little risk is too big to not taking care of. We don't need to care if we have 10 backup to Kane, as long as at least one of them success. But Poch can't think the same way. Neither can Levy.
Again you exaggerate by numbers. Ten Kane backup players?
I have highlighted 3 areas, chances of filling all 3 is low, but one or two is feasible. One backup to add to Janssen seems reasonable, as injuries, loss of form or suspension can leave you short, particularly on the bench. Other positions we can move someone but goals scorers are more difficult to switch around and are crucial. So the likelihood, IMO, that we will need someone else is quite high.
Time will tell.

Well, we already have two cover (Jansen and Son) for Kane, but still some consider that as not enough.

I´m just saying that is too easy just for scream for new player when you don't need to find them nor pay for them.

Well Janssen is still struggling to score from open play and Son tends to blow hot and cold

We are very lucky to have Kane and we are doing well

However when I look at Arse for example they now for the run in have Sanchez, Giroud, Perez, Welbeck, Iwobi and Walcott, all capable to find the back of the net. That strength in depth will probably prove the difference in them finishing above us again

As I asked previous, how many cover is needed from your point of view? Apperently you consider 2 cover of one position not enough.
So are you discounting us deploying 2 strikers in a game, the second leg of EL game where we might have to overcome a goal deficit?
I would say you need 2 main and two playing off the main.
Make no mistake, stating the bleeding obvious, goal scoring capability will be crucial.

Son blows hot and cold yet you compare him against Welbeck, Walcott and Iwobi? A trio of more consistent strikers this side of Deptford I can't think of .........
