Back to the Lane after 4 away wins on the bounce.
Watford have 5 points from 7 games.
We are on the brink of winning 6 games in a row in all comps for the first time since 1995.

Last time against Watford

Oh newbie one kenobi - this is why you have such an avatar....

Tough one. If QSF gets anything out of this game the man is a GHod.

If we lose this then we've blown our chance of getting into the Champions League - we really should be beating our European qualification rivals if we want to be taken seriously.

Don't see why this couldn't be played on Sunday. We get a recovery day tomorrow and then one day to prepare. Cheers.

Must win if we're to get top 5

Another tough one that I am not expecting a lot from, but after their offside winner at the Vic we deserve to get something from this game, that's if this much vaunted "Swings & Roundabouts" thing works

Fancy we're good for a point here. But then, I had a tenner on us beating Chelsea 5-1 last night. I'm thinking of applying for Lawro's job

If there's one thing we've learned about Spurs over the years it's that they are a tough, robust side that never slip up when they are expected to win a game.

Not.

They only play with one up front though. No need for 2 central defenders to deal with him.

You're probably right. I just have this horrible feeling that he will punish us, if we do not focus on frustrating him for the entire game. That said, they have so many other threats, so perhaps Cathcart would be the more mobile option to look out for the players feeding off Kane.

I started the 'One Danny Thomas' song in 85

another there from my many brilliant stories

I was at Sh!te Hart Lane during our last Premier campaign for THAT goal. I remember we were giving Paul Robinson loads of stick and chanting Foster was England's number one when it happened.

It was at that time, I descended into a fit of the giggles because the most obscure TV reference just came into my head. It was a scene from The Simpson where Chief Wiggum was being interviewed by Kent Brockman about police corruption (I think) and he gets handed hush money and says "You couldn't have picked a worse time for that"...after that everything was a blur....couldn't even tell you who scored for us.

But on the plus side I was SHL for the 5-1 drubbing where Danny Thomas scored the best own goal I've ever seen. We destroyed them that day.

I am hoping Spurs are believing that they can win the title, why because this adds pressure and if that pressure sets in on Saturday it will help WFC take points from the Lane.
I think Spurs have some real quality and potential ,however, if they do play Alli,Dier and Carroll in midfield they are young guys. They will have Erikson of course but I reckon our midfield could make a real game of it. Last night our midfield were
Really strong ,there is always room for improvement. They are a mature group and with the likes of Suarez will only be better. We showed we will compete with them at the Vic and if luck is on our side we will win it,COYH.

I fear we could suffer our first heavy defeat of the season here. 3-0 to spuds, tough afternoon for QSF.

Come on Optimistichornet,it's Spurs not Everest! As I said they will freeze, were not Norwich or MuffKeep the faith and help us climb the table.

Quietly confident we can nick something here.

People are starting to talk up Spurs. They've just gone above Arsenal in the table. This is that moment in Tottenham history where they either do what they have done in some many other seasons and ***k it up, or they go on and give their fans what they've been begging for three hundred years (or so it seems) ... as others have said, i think we are at a moment in the season when the pressure and expectations of Spuds will be start to build... after the commitment last night i'm looking forward to this ... i think we've come a long way since Arsenal back in October...

Spurs had any easy away win at Norwich, one day before we ran our socks off against cunning Costa and his mates, therefore The omens are not good!

This is not the game earmarked for hornet points I am afraid, but would be over the moon to be proved wrong!

The Spuds ALWAYS manage to balls it up eventually. I think we'll have them on Saturday.

Be absolutely delighted if we get something out of this, one of 3 teams in this division who I fear.

we were an inch away from beating them at the Vic ... we should fear no one

But on the plus side I was SHL for the 5-1 drubbing where Danny Thomas scored the best own goal I've ever seen. We destroyed them that day.

This.

Callaghan cross, chest high screaming volley. What a goal.
One of my favourite football moments

Will be a tough game for sure. Many of their fans think it will be a walk in the park and an easy three points regardless of what team they put out. Hopefully their players have the same attitude and will think they just need to turn up to win.

Would love a win but would be more than happy with a draw.

Just hope Capoue keeps his head this time.

This could be one of our toughest games of the season. Spurs are riding high on a winning streak, had a stroll in the park win on Tues, whilst we ran our socks of Weds for a draw. The limited recovery time doesn't suit us.

Hopefully Spurs can have a typical Spurs day, and lose at home whenever everybody is expecting them to win, but I don't see it unfortunately.

Hopefully we nick a win late on with an offside goal

Right. Changed my mind. Just reading the fightingrooster message board and they are a bunch of overhyped macarons who think they've already got the league in their grip and will walk all over us.

They are apparently gonna win by anything between 4-1 and 6-1, and we will be 8-0-2 in formation. Meh. Pah.

Want them to lose. Fall from grace. Drop out of the top 4 and self implode like they always do.

Watford 2-1. come on lads, show these muppets that they are anything but league beaters.

COYH!

I'll settle for their keeper not scoring this time!

I'm a big Capoue fan, like most people on here, but he didn't have a good match v Spurs back in December..it was if he was TOO pumped up to succeed against his former employers..

Now we have such a high-quality ready-made replacement in Suarez, maybe it wouldn't be the end of the world were he not 100% fit enough to start tomorrow

(though obviously i don't wish him to be ill)

What the dying duck are their fans talking about champions league qualification for?

Christ on a penny farthing.

I'm pretty sure they are joking about CL qualification.

Either way, we will beat these mugs.

I love how everyone thinks we're like the Spurs sides of seasons past. Are they in for a big surprise. He he he

I think it's wishful thinking on their part. They know that tomorrow is a tough game, and whilst we are not guaranteed the three points, really we ought to possess the quality to get this game won.

Watford are a good side, as they proved against us a month back. They have two good strikers in Deeney & Ighalo. They play football generally in the right manner and have been another of those surprise packages this season.

I think they will start stronger than we do. I think the variance in quality of opposition faced midweek will set us up for a slow start. I wouldn't be shocked if we went a goal down. I am going to predict, however, that we will do enough to secure the three points and win 3-1.

COYS!! Please Poch, let them focus on this game. We need as many points before European soccer starts.

We can only hope the OMT gods went out to get plastered before this abomination went down. Nothing for three days, then two at the same time. Still no badgers, no info on kick off time and just the one lineup. Not sure if the underpants can salvage this.
