Moussa Dembele

Lyall Thomas claims that he's very unready for PL football, and hasn't yet developed to the point where he can make the move with ease (unlike, say, Alli). If we are signing him, my preference is really for him to be loaned back to Fulham to finish the season with them before joining up with us in the summer. That also means that a striker is still necessary.

Absolutely cannot back this with logic or opinion but he is the one I want us to get. It helps that his fee will be less and he is young (perhaps that's some logic). And no, nothing to do with the name :D Mentioned it before - some posters wanted us to swap the two Dembeles at one point!

With one of our fringe players going the other way.
Paging Andros...

If I were Fulham, I'd be pushing for Carroll or Velkovic

I could see Veljkovic leaving, definitely. Not sure about Carroll, especially since he's broken into the first eleven and has (apparently) had his contract extended by the club up go 2018.

Hmm, so it seems this one is happening...

To those that have watched him, how does he compare to the following:

- Yaya Sanogo
- Benik Afobe
- Saido Berahino
- Sandro Ramirez?

I agree re; Carroll.
But it depends on how Fulham's bargaining strategy is if they wanted him.
Although, more importantly, I doubt he'd go there

- Yaya Sanogo - miles better as Sanogo is a donkey
- Benik Afobe - different style of player. Adobe to me is a slightly more physical Darren Bent
- Saido Berahino - Similar wish except Ive only seen Dembele play centrally
- Sandro Ramirez? - no idea as I've never seen him play

Have you seen him play much? If so, what's he like and how (in your opinion) does he compare to the following:

- Yaya Sanogo
- Benik Afobe
- Saido Berahino
- Randro Ramirez?

Not really to be honest, but what I have seen so far is promising plus I have mates who are ST holders at Fulham ( I also know a couple of coaches who have worked with him) and they all say he could be the next big thing.

Thanks. What do they (ST holder friends and coaches) say about him in terms of what he'd bring to our team if he joins?

Well they say he has the right attitude ( no billy big gonad*s like some young players have), he is direct and has a good touch on the ball, he can finish and is willing to learn. Not sure that means he will turn out to be a major player but like with all young players if they have the right attitude and ability ( which they say he has) then he has a chance.

But as I have said before about young players they can fall from grace as soon and as fast as they begin to get a reputation, I guess time will tell. But we know Poch likes to work with young players and he seems to fit the criteria. We shall see.
