This defeat really drops us back into the battle from 4th, as distinct with competing wih those above us
 
This is what we get for Kane and Lamela fluffing their lines infront of goal tonight. we had to take one of those chances, then we've got done on a set-piece by letting their biggest player head the ball in without a challenge.

From possibly getting 1 point behind Them and City to a defeat.

We have a nice run of game through until March though. Still time to really kick on.

But Spam, Man Yoo and SToke are all close as well.

long way to go, we've been the better side in all the games against the teams above us

A team in the top 2 or 3 of the league would create many many more chance with the sort of possession which we've had
 
I agree. There was a worrying lack of conviction up front. Seemed like we lacked some belief.

No complaints about team selection really either; left Carroll on too long for my liking, but I have no idea how fit Dembele is.

Very disappointing. Lost our first really really big league game of the season.

fudging hell I'm disappointed in Lamela tonight big let down of a performance in a big match. He had the chances to make an impact on the scoreline.
