Problem is that his ability is as unpredictable as his style.

I've seen a lot of Bolasie due to being married to a Palace fan. When he's good he can be very good and very effective, the other 4 matches out of 5 you wouldn't even know he was on the pitch - his ability really is at one of two extremes pretty much all of the time.

A lot of links in the summer not much so far now. I was dead against him in the summer and still think the price is to high but he did play better in the prem this season then I give him credit for in the summer. Still not worth 20m though.
 
If we are going to sign someone in January they will have Premiership experience IMO. Bolasie's been on the Poch radar before but I do think this is going to be about Berahino, Levy and Peace. He seems to be the one Poch really wants, and if DL has his diplomatic stick out then I can see this being done for around 16-18 mill...

It's crazy isn't it to think that Bolasie would be 16-18m. The mind boggles...... but it is a sign of the times. I think I would prefer Zaha to Boalasie, controversial I know!
 
I was not bumping it, just mentioning that this season he is not as poor a player as I thought he was, I still think he is below the good level we should aim for.

Edit: Reading up it sounds like a month on the sidelines although the commentator last night sounded like he was saying it could be longer than two months.
 
Bolasie for £5-8m? I'd roll the dice on him as I do think he has the potential to step up another level given the right coach and team-mates. If he cost much more than that, though, I'd probably look elsewhere.
