Tim Sherwood Testimonial OMT Spurs v Aston Villa 11th April

I bet Timmy is going to play four four fu*kin two. Just like they did back in his day.

...which could bring rich pickings for them tbf; I do worry about the pace of Benteke, Agbonlahor, Nzogbia and Sinclair on the break.

I REALLY hope Poch does his homework here.

Scared of a brick Villa team who still struggle to create chances? If we do not beat this brick championship team at home then we should sack Poch and sell everyone who plays.

A team with nothing left to play for vs. one fighting for survival, this could be embarrassing.

Also whats up with this "adult content" crap. I can use google to fufill all my scandanavian scat porn needs but naughty words are too far on a forum full of adults?

Amazing how we can see negative patterns in anything.

When we are a team playing for something against a team in mid table mediocrity then we are afraid that we will be tight and they will be carefree and play with no fear but when we have nothing to play for against a relegation struggler then again we are the side likely to come unstuck whilst fear won't affect them for some reason.

Villa will be high energy and running around a lot but if we play fast paced possession, keep it moving then their lack of organisation and finesse should open big gaps for us especially as they tire. We should win this comfortably with the right midfield who can move the ball quickly and efficiently.

He will do what is all any team ever really has to do against us, which is to sit back and wait for us to make unforced errors, gifting them easy chances—perhaps with a little bit of judiciously applied pressure on the ball in our half to accelerate the process. Watching us sometimes reminds me of that "swordplay vs handgun" scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Actually i disagree; i think he will sit back and try and hit us on the break..

Sitting back isn't in Captain Bellend's tactics book.

In fact, there's only two pages in it. The first says "Fahkin at 'em you cahnts" and the second says "Run about a bit"

He's thinking of adding a third page that says "Throw body warmer on the floor" but his Pritt Stick and scissors were taken away because he couldn't be trusted with them.

We should walk all over them then, don't you think?

Depends on what Poch sees as the priority. If he's treating it like the last match where he's just tinkling about with players/formations then just a win by a goal or two of the most likely result.

If he puts out a full first team, properly motivated, it would probably be a Wigan score.

I back pouch, but if he is being so unprofessional as to not (in his mind ) maximize the chances of winning all our remaining games, especially with champs league still possible (if unlikely) he should be sacked.

Luckily I don't believe your narrative, but good that you got your excuses in early.

There's no way our last match was Poch maximising the chances of us winning.

I'm more than happy for him to be preparing for next season now - especially as he didn't get a proper preseason last summer.

Great idea. It's been a long time since Levy sacked a manager and that would be a fantastic move for the Club as a whole. It would really send a great, strong message out to potential managers what we are all about.

Did you read my post in its entirety?

come on Scara, that's clearly ridiculous

he has page 3 done already, "shuffle across a bit"

it's page 4 he's working on

i cannot believe that....why would he not want to win every remaining game of the season. We have an easy run in, you never know maybe Utd or Arsanal will drop some points

if Poch has given up on this season already then its not a good sign at all. At least the boss has to fight to the very end, if not why the will the players ever bother to.
