Hopefully this will take off as a 'heads-up' thread for upcoming matches of intrigue. Post upcoming games that you like the look of - that may be derbies, or the teams have previous, or it's the last game of the season and 1 of the teams must be relegated etc etc.

Kind of an obvious one but I'm going to start with;

Scotland v Ireland - 19:45 Friday on Sky Sports 5

Think the atmosphere and sense of occasion for this will be good, can't remember the last time Scotland and Ireland faced each other?

Please post any games you feel like sharing, we're not all experts on the portuguese second tier and some of us don't religiously check the Spanish/Bundesliga threads so please share anything you think may be interesting. I'm thinking staying up 'til 2am to watch river plate or watch some turkish or polish derbies, that kind of thing.

I like the idea of this thread. I would like to watch a Galatasaray vs Fenerbache match (never seen one) or some other high profile derbys/ clashes in leagues like Portrugal, POland, Serbia, Spain etc... but it's too much effort to check the fixture lists to find out when they're on, especially as in modern football the fixture dates change more than the weather.

Will watch the Ireland vs Scotland game if I'm not out that night.

PS there is a website called footballderbies I have just found. Has a fixture list of up coming rival matches and by the looks of it Hadjuk Split vs Dinamo Zagreb is on the 22nd of this month and AC vs Inter is on on the 23rd

You've just missed a corker mate. Wesley Sneijder killing it with 2 fantastic goals within a few minutes:

Nice! I clicked through to their facebook page as well and looks like they do a good job of keeping it updated so I gave them a 'like'. Rangers play Celtic in the Scottish Cup in January. Think I'll be bumping this thread with that fixture..

Belgium v Wales, Sunday 16th Nov, 5pm KO on Sky Sports

Bale v Belgium !!!! should be a corker

They played each other in the qualifiers for the world cup? Belgium won 2-0 and drew 1-1. I also have a feeling this will be worth a watch.

AC Milan v Inter Milan

Tonight, 19:45 BT Sport.

AC and Inter sitting in 7th and 9th respectively. AC with no wins in 4. What's going on?

England v Germany Ladies at 3pm too. Worth watching the first half before Hull v Spurs?
