**The Electronic Music Thread**

New Lee Gamble record coming out soon. Just copped it off the net. Got a track called "Yehudi Lights Over Tottenham". :D Lee Gamble is an excellent producer, really looking forward to diving deeper into this record.

Anyone been to Ibiza this year? Got back a few days ago. Utter destruction as usual. Don't think much of Cocoon though, one of the biggest nights out there yet some of the dullest music going.

Not going this year but apart from the Enter nights not heard too much praise for the white isle this season

Guys!
Maybe somebody can give me an advise what to do.
I decided to have a look at London night life during 9 days of my stay, checked deadmau5 official site as I like him much and have listened to his mixes for many-many hours and noticed that he's playing on SW4 2014. Sunday line-up is very nice, but Spurs start playing at 13:30 and of course I won't give a fck about music in those hours. But there is also an after party event from 22:30 and its main headliners are deadmau5 and Eric Prydz (whose music will sound lovely and familiar for my partner). That sounds really great plus we'll see one of London night clubs (btw, what are you thoughts about Electric Brixton?)

So, how should I buy tickets for the event, where can I find them? Is it dangerous to buy from somebody but not through online service? From a tout or a person who can't go to the party but has tickets?

Tickets through the official website have sold out but there will be some on the door that night

Have a look on the Resident Adivsor web page - select London as your City in the events section and you'll get a good list of things going on that evening with a similar sound - bank holiday weekend so there will be plenty on offer

Thank you. Is it possible to know the quantity of "on the door" tickets? When their selling will start (or starts usually)?

I found tickets here: http://www.getmein.com/tickets/sout...-tickets/brixton-261691.html?cid=ticketmaster
2x Tickets (£53.90 each):£107.80
Processing Fee: £19.55
Delivery Fee: £13.20
FANGUARD Guarantee: FREE
Enter a discount code
Order Total: £140.55
I suppose it is much more than these tickets cost through main partners (incl ticketmaster), isn't it? I also don't know what to do with delivery: we're arriving only on Saturday and if I mention the adress of the hotel, won't these tickets be denied for collecting or even lost by reception staff?

Sorry for wasting your time, but I'm a bit like a blind man on the road. And I can't find any exact information on official web-site. Maybe there are any useful club forums?

Thank you for advice, I'll check it. But I'll try to get us to SW4. Wanted for several years to listen to deadmau5 LIVE.
upd: Fabric and Ministry of Sound look very tempting. I have heard a lot about them. "Must visit" places.

.

Those getmein tickets are very expensive, it wasnt nowhere near £70 a ticket, they like Stubhub are a bit of a rip off but it depends on how much you want to go really, it will be an immense night thats for sure and not something you do everyday

Id think you would print them off as they may be etickets

Not sure how many would be on the door, maybe phone the club electric brixton and ask

Thank you very much for all your advices and help!
So we decided to go to Fabric on Saturday to listen Russian girl Nina Kraviz. Craig Richards is also great tech-houser. And I will try to get tickets to SW4 Sunday afterparty on the door.
By the way, do you know, what are approximate prices for drinks in Fabric?

Kraviz rocks !!!

Not too bad, probably £4 ish for a beer

Fabric is my favorite club, been there so many times ive lost count - you'll have a great time.

just make sure you don't sleep in and miss the Spurs game! where's your hotel?

Between southwark and blackfairs. Good location both for sightseeings and clubs and not far from Liverpool station.

I won't sleep after Fabric in order not to miss Spurs against Pool. If you meet Ozil-esque looking person on the South Upper, then you know who it is :p

Mark, we went to Elecric Brixton. Came rather late to the club, only at about 23:3, wasting some time on preparations and its location searching. Entered rather long queeu, passed it and then were told at the entrance that we can't pay with a credit card (we stupid not to ask it before entering the queue, but I didn't think even about possibility of such thing happening). So we wasted even more time searching for a bank automat and standing in the queue for 2nd time... And selling of on door tickets finished exactly on us, could you believe it? However we were told that 40 tickets are left and we should wait for some time. While waiting, we had a good chat with a guy who was waiting for tickets as well. In 10 minutes we were told that only VIP tickets left with the approximate price of 100£ for 1 person. We were so upset and angry at ourselves and staff as well (the bald man ordered us to stand in the queue for 2nd time). However, Andrew didn't panic and showed us the black man who was selling tickets for the default price £40 near the queue. If I were in Moscow, I wouldn't have bought it doubting its authenticity. But we risked and went in. I bought a ****tail for our helper.

It was a fantastic night. 2nd best night after Paul van Dyk in Amnesia, but the MDMA was also a factor there. Since I'm with my GF I stopped using anything illegal. Only music, emotions, people around and a bit alcohol.
Deadmau5 was utter fantastic especially his last half an hour with his main hits and my GF liked Eric Prydz very much so we stayed until 03:30 and returned to the hotel only at 05:00.

Funny moment: the guys on the upper floor which were dancing next to us (from VIP seats I suggest) admired my dancing and bought us drinks several times.
If you're doing any good things to people, it will return to you.

I'll upload some videos a bit later.
