Re: European Elections, UKIP Tops British Polls

The Electoral Commission was set up to stop this type of mischief. Fail.

Crumbs, there's some explaining to do there. That party passing itself off as ukip picked up 20000 votes in some regions.

I wonder how the "Laboural Democrats" would fare.

Re: European Elections, UKIP Tops British Polls

by first language do you mean what is taught or that which is the first language of the majority of pupils?

where is the school out of interest?

Not really sure why where the school is, is really a matter of interest. Lets just say its along the river 4-5km before Queen Elizabeth Bridge (inside M25).

Re: European Elections, UKIP Tops British Polls

I know the average intelligence level of a UKIP supporter is low, but seriously they get both a name and a picture - if they cannot work out who they are voting for because of one different word ( not even a similar word!! ) then tough ****.

http://order-order.com/2014/05/26/exc-farage-calls-for-electoral-commission-to-be-abolished/

The unfortunate thing about democracy is that it has to be available to everyone - even the stupid.

If proof of intelligence were a prerequisite to voting then we may as well just form a Conservative government and abolish voting.

ah, ok, at first I thought you were saying that the school wasn't teaching English language/literature anymore

I remember going to a school as a kid where tennis was the dominant playground sport of choice rather than football, that was a real eye opener for me

Sad to think that millions of people a week actually pay good money to purchase rabble-rousing rags like the Express and the Mail, helping demagogues like Farage to prey upon people' fears and prejudices about the EU whilst he earns a very comfortable living aboard the Brussels gravy train.

Although the politicians from the 3 main parties certainly do themselves no favours with their mealy-mouthed answers to every question they are posed.

I wonder if there is an equivalent site to http://expressbingo.org.uk/ for the Daily Fail' repetitive front page headlines...

Re: European Elections, UKIP Tops British Polls

lol.. For someone who clearly left open the gates to allow anyone in to change his own parties fortunes is laughable. The man is a self serving class A ****er.

Anyway.. back to my school. I went back because it was a reunion of sorts. When I was growing up you would be lucky to spot anyone from overseas. Anyway when I went back on Friday I got a shock of sorts. The whole town was now full of African immigrants, I was told its not the asylum types who live of the state, the ones that are/get educated and have good standing jobs like doctors, nurses etc. For me as many of them can come to our country as can be possible, but surely not at the expense at what I saw.. this is no lie when I say I saw no one walking the street that was white (obviously they do), at he bus stops were Africans, at the shops were Africans. The weird thing about all this was that they were just Africans, no other ethnics in sight. Don't you think that a tad weird. Its like an African community identified an area and were all moving there. I was told at least 3 churches have been set up in the last year, one was in the side of a pub, with on Sundays it being like going back in time where everyone went to church at weekends. Behind the school are large area of the school grounds was sold to new build last year and they have nearly completed, will be interesting to see who has bought these apartments and houses. Last time I visited was about 10 years ago.

I checked the towns electoral situation, and three Labour councillor's got in. Surrounding them in all the other towns, the conservatives walked it with Ukip very strong, there was no UKip candidate in my school town interestingly but there was a ****er BNP candidate who got nearly as many votes as the the highest voted conservative candidate.

If anyone wishes to know I voted Conservative, both local and Europe, my own stance on immigration is that if they are trained/skilled then come work here, anyone else sorry we cannot cope.

Sorry if I have offended anyone with the above but I believe the above is a very good example of why Ukip is getting very good support and its no surprise that Labour got three councillors in that town.

I don't see anything offensive there, you've simply stated facts.

Personally I don't think its a "tad weird" either, I think its quite common and you could point to many similar examples in the UK/France/Germany/US/etc. Is it any different to the Jewish population in north east london building synagogues?

People should be able to live where they like as long as they adhere to the laws of the land, they can live however they so wish after that, if they want to build a temple to the flying spaghetti monster thats all cool, as long as they get planning permission from the local council first.

My point really wasn't about churches. the church comment was about how the area has been changed completely.

Also shown is the electoral results and how Labour in this town has got what it wanted with its imiigration policy. It highlights clearly the fact that they changed the landscape to suit its own selfish means.

Re: European Elections, UKIP Tops British Polls

Funny to think when I said UKIP a couple of years ago are growing hugely in popularity and can become serious challengers to established parties, I was laughed out the building by those who refuse to even consider any shortcomings to a lefty utopia.

Nothing's changed. Only 30% voter turn out. UKIP would have made a huge effort to get their voters out, Tories and Labour would not have bothered. Nothing to see here.

Unscrupulous politicians manipulating the demographics of a London borough in order to swing an election their way, what would Dame Shirley Porter say...

As you said it was a low turnout but surely that is the benefit to everyone, there is no way of knowing if that helps any single party.

Will be interesting that is for sure. Something to follow will be the fact that people want there vote to count, what is the point otherwise. Seeing the UKip vote last week will see more followers IMO simply because they feel there vote may make a difference now. Something that has always put me off voting Libdems.

Even sadder to say there are some intelligent people who actually purchase the militant/socialist ****e rags of jealousy and envy the Guardian and Mirror......

Typical arrogance of the left ...... you may not have noticed but UKIPs vote aren't just disenfranchised Tories, closet racists and swivel eyed loons, there seem to be quite a few Labour supporters who've had enough with the Euro dream.

Milliband's epitaph in defeat next year will be his speech he made today saying Labour won't ever want to be out of Europe......

"Nothing to see here" lol, i bet they said the same in Germany in the 30's
