Anyone saw the season (last ever) finale of Hannibal? ****in hell, put GoT to shame

Im totally confused,

Oh its confirmed hmmmmmmmmm intrigued how this will progress

I remember reading that they plan on getting to the Red Dragon-Silence Of The Lambs storylines around Series 4-5.

I can't remember the exact details but there is some kind of rights argument going on between TV Companies regarding the use of Lecter and (eventually) Clarice Starling. Another US Company has the rights to the Clarice character and is doing a show about her (but cannot use the Lecter character) and its the other way around with Hannibal (they will have to use a 'different' character when it comes to Clarice). Apparently the makers of Hannibal tried to settle it by saying they should both be free to use both (surprising considering they have the rights for the more important character imo) but the other company said no!

So as it stands when it gets to Clarice, it won't actually BE Clarice.

Here's the quote I read;

How eager are you to get Clarice Starling into the series? Would we have to wait until you get to The Silence of the Lambs, or were you thinking about teasing her earlier?

Well, right now we don’t have the rights to the character.

Oh, really?

No, no, because MGM has the rights to any character that originated in Silence of the Lambs, and Gaumont has the rights to any character that originated in Red Dragon. So there are a few characters that MGM has told us, “No, you cannot have [them], because we don’t know what we’re doing with them.” There was originally going to be a Clarice Starling series, but I’m not sure what the status of that is. I’m secretly hoping that by the time we get to Season 5, which would be the Silence of the Lambs era, maybe some deal could be brokered between Gaumont and MGM where we could co-produce a series that has both Will Graham and Clarice Starling in it, but I just don’t know if they’re ever going to let us do that.

Maybe I'm wrong and its Will Graham not Hannibal (or both?).

Bryan Cranston: 'Never say never' to more Breaking Bad

Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston has suggested that the cult series may not be finished for good after all.

Asked by CNN host Ashleigh Banfield if his character Walter White was dead, the Golden Globe winner replied: "I don't know."

"You never saw bags zip up or anything, or anybody say... you know."

And asked if there could be another installment of the hit show, he said: "Never say never."

The programme was thought to have concluded after five seasons in September 2013.

Can't see it happening to be honest. I can't remember a TV series coming back and being as popular as it was the first time round.
