New Kit?

BoKe_DPIYAAg_Pt.jpg

why can't they design something closer to the original if they are talking tradition.

for instance:

Wouldn't that style of shirt have the logo on the sleeves?

The '82 kit (was it Le coq sportif?) had it on the sleeves I think.

You can see it on Spurs' official "on this day" tweet this morning.

Ironic/coincident or well thought out use of tweeting that kit today after "leak" of kit yesterday? All seems a bit planned to me!

Gotta be fake i think, you wouldn't put a dark blue badge on a navy background on the away top. And they haven't bothered to obscure the admiral logo on Ossies picture.

I really hope there the real ones as I love all of them

Yeah me too. Can even stand the red to a certain degree on the home shirt. The Blue one though I dont understand why the ****eral would be in blue and not white. And the yellow one, well the red there looks pants but i like the rest of the shirt.

Its a bit weird though when current shirt suppliers hark back to designs from other manufacturers as UA may be doing here.

Yep but I'm pointing out it looks more likely to be an amatuer attention seeker and not the club.

What part of it looks amateur? This is the leaked image for last season's kit:

Did you/would you have passed that off as an amateur attention seeker too? I think the leaked images of next season's new kits are very likely to be real.

The navy Spurs logo on a navy kit does look a bit stupid though (amateurish point of view).

I think someone started with those authentic pictures then just tweaked them. As opposed to taking the design from UA and superimposing it. All have quite simple designs which isn't actually UAs style. It's pretty obvious to me but there you go.

Can't see us going for navy again this year either. But we are due a yellow.

And I don't think the AIA will be red either....

Navy was the third kit this year wasn't it?

Yep. I can't remember the last time we had a repeat of either yellow, navy, light blue in consecutive seasons.

Yellow away and then a dark third (purple, brown, black/grey halves etc)

I don't think the admiral or umbro logos are relevant - UA are not going to care and wouldn't want to **** customers off by removing it.

The logo might actually be white, but look blue in photos. Like thin black and white can look grey when its a small image

As a new fan to Tottenham (and the sport in general) can someone please explain a couple questions I have.

1. What is the significance of the yellow on Tottenham history?

2. Why do clubs change colors of uniforms...sorry, kits...as frequently as they do?

3. Why are so many "non-club" colors used?

Being an American I'm used to uniforms changing every couple years but always staying with the team's official color scheme other than an occasional one off uniform that might be slightly different. Though those are usually still the colors just a different combination.

Apologies for the ignorance but I'm trying to learn everything I can to educate myself

Sent from my S4 using Fapatalk so if there is typos deal with it.

I've no doubt the cuffs and collars etc on the home and 3rd, are navy. No point referring to the historic kits if not.

Is it possible there are no black/blue cuffs and the dark bands in the pictures are the players undershirts? Would make more sense to me
