** OMT Tottenham Hotspur V Liverpool **

Hell no, people waiting for kebabs are looking forward to something. And I could do with a kebab right now from that kebab shop on Haverstock Hill near Chalk Farm tube station.

Marathon. Like our season....a greasy mess at the end of long night :) I'd murder one as well.

Not to mention his complete inability to motivate a team.

Again, I don't blame Sherwood as much as the fact that the situation the players are in. They've seen the club act like lunatics this season and have been given no stability. Half of them want to be off probably and I don't really blame them for that, but we've ended up this season with nothing to play for due to bad decisions at the top of the club.

The players' demeanour in the game today was disgusting except for a few, (I think Chadli and Bentaleb stood up to be counted) but it's not really Sherwood's fault everyone is praying for this season to be over.

Yes, Marathon! Greasy memories of popping there for lunch at school and late at night waiting with the old drunks drinking short cans of Carlsberg. And yes, this season is like the congealed fat that collected in the can underneath the spit.

Because we thought it best to appoint a manager who had failed in his only Premiership experience. Ideal choice really. :/

Well we better hope this LVG thing is going to happen. But what if he goes somewhere else in the summer? What do we do then?

I don't trust the people who run this club to make the correct managerial appointment. Not after the AVB/Sherwood debacle not to mention Santini Ramos etc.

Our squad is rotten make no doubt. The attitude of a lot of them is awful. Woefully unbalanced and the defence ain't up to it. We are heading the same way as Villa or worse.

It's vital the right decisions are made this summer.

In Levy I don't trustt.

I think a an awful lot of us who have watched Mr. Levy's tenure are reaching this conclusion. You can only draw a conclusion by the evidence that you have seen placed before you. Apart from a brief spell when he got lucky with Harry Redknapp, Daniel Levy's managerial appointments have been awful. His time is drawing to a close I feel.

Happy days. Its a king of kebab houses. And you could booze on there after the pubs closed. With a live music in the back.

We weren't expected to win today. But our defense has been shyte for some time. The balance is not right yet. Pool's defense is pretty open, but they take the game to the opposition so well. We're in limbo, trying to take the game to the opposition, but ending up exposed and making errors. Back to square one.

At least Sherwood asks for some guts and commitment, as our season is over, he'll need to keep the team on its toes and see if we can round off a mess of a year with some better performances.

Well said. Levy & the Spurs board is where the lion's share of incompetence lies.

you shouldn't need to motivate anyone on that much money, it comes with the payslip

Not for footballers. Their sense of entitlement outdoes the fans.

When they see others not pulling their weight, that **** spreads and Sherwood hasn't got the authority to stop the rot.

That worked so well this season we should definitely do it again.

Hawell at least we have an easy run in. We all knew March would work out like this.

Sunderland h Team fighting for their premiership lives We will struggle to win even at home
WBA a Team fighting for their premiership lives We will struggle to win, but should just get over the line
Fulham h Team fighting for their premiership lives First half struggle but should pull through in the 2nd half
Stoke a They will bully us off the pitch I will be amazed if snatch even a draw
West Ham a Local derby with their players up for it, and ours on the beach Might pinch a point
Villa h This will be a typical end of season match. Will be a borefest 1-0 win, late pen

Foolham will be dead and buried by then.

Foolham will be dead and buried by then.

If results go the right, or wrong way(depending on your lookout), I think we might send them down on that morning.

They are still only 6pts from safety and do have a winnable home game in a fortnight, plus we go first the weekend we play them. so I doubt they will relegated before we play them

I know nobody is interested in a defence of Sherwood, but none of those are down to tactics, selection or formation.

Also, we had more shots then them 15 to 11.

They had 5 shots on target, and scored 4 goals.

It's just this hideous season - everything imaginable just goes wrong over and over and over again.

Mate,

I have to seriously say, today's 'performance' (or lack of) was indefensible…you have to wonder why so many individual errors keep on occurring? There is something fundamentally broken at this point. As for '15 shots' it just underscores the fact that statistics mean nothing…I also don't believe they only had 5 shots on target; didn't Lloris save at least three, two of them going within the woodwork without his help?

But even if that's true there were still THREE other defensive errors with goal 1:

- Rose stood off Sterling before he passed it
- Verts didn't clear at the near post
- Kaboul put it in

The formation should have had enough to it that Eriksen not perfectly tracking back shouldn't have mattered.

I just think that it's beyond reasonable doubt that this side was (once again) woefully underprepared. Rose keeps on doing insanely stupid things! He nearly got done by Sturridge in his own 6 yard box with a stupid pass!!!!! So how many times must he

a) be picked
b) not be drilled properly on WTF to do?

Either way, it's a decision which should've been made months ago.

As for choosing Sigurdsson, well…the guy was awful, simply awful, didn't jockey properly, didn't tackle, didn't pass properly, in fact he had a match which made prime-time Spurs Jason Dozzell's worst seem like ****ing Zidane. Who's fault is that? What was he supposed to be doing? And why didn't he even try to do it properly, with some spirit? These players are broken. Lennon looks absolutely spun out of anything resembling form, Chadli's trying, Kaboul looked like he was on ketamine, Daws was Daws and his confidence must be shattered too which makes it even worse...

I felt sorry for Soldado and Bentaleb today as well as Naughton, all of whom gave it their best and looked hurt/disgusted (Bentaleb's face was like thunder)…Soldado in particular must wonder WTF is going on. I know I do.
