From the moment the team sheet was released i think we all knew what the end result would be. Why the f*** would Sherwood the Gooner pick Bentaleb and Siggy over Dembele and Sandro (even if they are half fit!) It doesnt make sense. The sooner we get rid of Sherwood the better, he doesnt have a clue and his team selection is just wrong. What he is doing in the stands who knows. Hopefully that call he took was from DL telling him to f*** off

Well let him fukk off to the highest level then. Every club in Europe had the chance to buy him and passed at a modest fee.

He's part of this clusterfukk of players and so if he and Verts think they are too good for us they can go.

And as for Pool's 4th, Lloris was hardly epic.

Overrated IMO.

There's no mystery. He's been doing that for years. Now and again he shows a few flashes (which produce nothing), and his fans somehow love him...while other teams laugh at us. And no, its not the manager. As an experienced pro at 27 years old you don't need to be told 'you should be taking on the fullback'.

I imagine a fair few of our players have played their way out of contention for their national teams this season, or at very least dropped down the pecking order and unlikely to get much game time at the WC. That could be a positive for us as players often struggle with form and fitness after summer tournaments.
 
It's a joke that we the great Tottenham Hotspur cannot back a manager 6th in the league and sitting above the current champions ....
 
I've always like Martin Tyler, but his commentary today has been so gleefully down on Spurs it's not true.
 
We all knew this was coming, but it doesn't make it any easier to take. No heart, no balls, awful defending, no plus side. No positives to take from the match. Roll on next season!

Lloris, sure. Verts? Hasn't played a decent game for a long time now, and is definitely mentally suspect. Sandro? Maybe, but they'd have to contend with his injury travails. Eriksen? Definitely, but he's just arrived, and I don't see Levy letting him go easily. Erm....Lamela, I guess?

Apart from Lloris, there is no player we have who every other club would want. The majority of our squad are painfully mediocre and mentally suspect, hardly enticing traits for the top clubs. I think we'll be safe this summer.
 
The players have once again hugely let themselves and the club down. Tremendously disappointing
 
I don't want to sound positive here but we do show a few good moments with intelligent movement and passing at times normally with Sigg or Eriksen dictating.

I've only gotten to watch a bit of this but how has Sigg looked in the center?

Im hoping LvG comes in and goes for a diamond in the middle with Sandro, bentaleb/Dembele, Eriksen/Holtby, and Sigg
