Flight MH370

What's peoples thoughts on this it's getting rather strange.
If it is an accident it is very sad and unfortunate but just see on the news and a few other reports since last night that the engines were still sending out pings. I watched a thing about Rolls Royce Trent engines on BA planes a while back that they send real time data back to the factory whilst in flight.
This is what a few sources are saying the ping is but Malaysia air did not have that service enabled but the engines will still try connect every hour regardless.
So it is said that five hours later was the last ping they sent. How reliable news sources are is up for debate but also if it was a crash the black boxes beacons would have started and you only have to pass within 2 miles of them to read/see the signal.
Plus if it had gone down at last point of contact they would have found it surely some debris would have been found plenty of buoyancy in planes material associated with a crash.
It's all quite scary to be honest that a 777 could just vanish of the face of the earth.

Interesting graphic but does not tell you what aircraft they were and looks like the four mentioned were the large aircraft. The air France one went down in a radar black spot over the Atlantic and mh 370 did not.
Many around Bermuda could be light aircraft plenty of disappearances and never found but this is a 777 pretty large plane with 200+ souls on board. Also graphic does not tell you dates as radar/transponders/black box beacons all vastly superior to 20-50 years ago.

Latest I heard from the Aviation team where I work is that the rolls royce engineers picked up that it couldve flown for hours and hours past the last time it made contact with ATC as there in flight data management system has indicated

Could have been hijacked, blown up, crashed through pilot suicide, anything really...

Its a big sea and they have been searching in the wrong place for days

Didn't it take 2yrs to recover the air France jet that crashed in the Atlantic after leaving Brazil?

Literal needle in a haystack

Agree its a big search area and anything possible. Strange that lost transponders but engines still sending signal. That's why the experts are baffled.

Yet Air France continue to blame the makers of the pitot tubes (speed sensors) for the crash rather than the inexperienced co-pilot who was left by his captains to fly the plane and fly it he did straight into a storm that 6 other planes flew around..

Typical Air France, its never ever their fault, they are the Sol Campbell of the airline industry

Yes I saw this on air crash investigation NTSB put it down to pilot error. But I suppose Air France are trying to protect there pilots reputation possibly.

They can track a great white crossing the Atlantic but a black box.. time someone built something that works better.

If it landed on land then surely they should be looking at passenger mobile signals.

Personally think it was hijacked and shot out of the sky.. But they don't want a panic about flying amongst the public so everyone keeping schum.

#BREAKING Malaysian PM confirms #MH370 was deliberately flown off course and has comms disabled by someone with flying experience
