Diane Abbott

She got some stick from Andrew Neil last night

At the end of the show he did a monologue and mentioned "whiteys" right in front of her!

Her face went a bit pale

She was very careful not to put her foot in it last night

When asked "who is cooler? Prince Harry or Ed Millicun*t"...she quickly said "Ed"

She has lost weight I think too

that was all very funny - tbf she did well not to slip up

you do have to feel that any credibility she had has evaporated - you would have to be blind or very loyal to listen to anything she says in future

I feel for Diane Abbott I really do.
Possibly one of the most misunderstood women in British politics today.

I'd suggest a consultation with Max Clifford would do her the world of good.

Simply forgot what she is supposed to be, a public servant, now like so many more just a self promoting media fluffy bunnies cuddling

Massively one, was proved but obviously they didnt have the balls to sack her

As a man from an ethnic minority; the stuff that she came out with is the kind of thing that Divides communities. The ruling class in whitehall should have sacked her no argument; if this was a white person saying it they would have been sacked. However the ruling classes feel that they can decide what is offensive and is acceptable for the minorities without consulting us.

i understand what your saying, but im not sure its quite as sinister as that

probably more to do with the weak willed Labour leader and the fact it might get blown out of all proportion as a race storm, which would ultimately paint Abbot as the victim by virtue of the "he who shouts loudest wins" black community (a very VERY small minority) insisting she was misquoted or some such BS

I never followed up to find out what became of her. I just assumed she would be sacked. If someone was to point out that the percentages of black looters in our recent riots were far higher than the National demographic, the outcry would have been far higher than Diane Abott saying that 'whiteys are qunts'.

Wow, where do you live? Clearly not near Tottenham..

I wouldn't say its anything sinister too, I agree with what you say. People are afraid of causing upsets, because out there somewhere, someone will be offended by it.

no, for sure!!

and that kinda my point - area's like Tottenham with alot of ethnic minorities that shout and whine about anything and use the race card are not representatives of minorities across the nation

Absolutely. I think the fact they are so loud in places that I've grown up in (Enfield, Tottenham) is because they're not minorities therefore feel as though they're backed up by others. Far too many chips on shoulders from these types although not reflective of the whole of the community.
