Why are people so down on Sherwood? He isn't my choice for manager by the way but I know nothing about the job he does or how well he does it and am intrigued by how so many people here damn him with pretty much the same level of knowledge.

Because they are Spurs fans, the most deluded group of supporters in the league. I love this club but hate the new sort of fan we get. I don't care how much they pay if they don't like it go somewhere else. I don't support a team because I expect them to win trophies, I love the game. The Premier League has killed this game.

I never ever thought that Sherwood was committed to Spurs as a player i.e. turn up. take the money and nothing more. But if the bastard is successful at getting our useless players to perform as a team, and be better than the sum of individual parts, I will be fine about him. wont like him but I didn't particularly like HR and he was in many ways an excellent manager.

Given your past posting isn't this a great endorsement for Sherwood?

Haven't you been proven to absolutely clueless when it comes to knowing what is best for the club. And didn't you despise Redknapp?

Shouldn't the combination of someone you don't rate and hate be the 2 main criteria we use when looking for a good manager?

Didn't like him as a player, and a horrible pundit on TV a few years back, he was always ****ging us off, which I guess is why so many people on here don't like him.

Well lets hope the support for him is better at the stadium on match day. I haven't seen any footballing reasons as to why he couldnt succeed, and noone here really knows how good he could be.

Ill give him a chance anyway....

Why does anything need to be a masterplan? If hes highly rated then give him a go and see what hes made of. If things arent looking good then obviously we look elsewhere....
