OMT Tottenham Hotspur Vs Emirates Marketing Project

and you come to that conclusion without even watching the game....
Exactly ! You don't have to watch a game that finishes 6-0, you can pretty much know what happened only by the scoreline. And I understand we could have lost by more easily. I remember Berndt Schneider telling a story as Real Madrid coach( the Zidane, Raul, Ronaldo,Figo, R. Carlos, Beckham etc squad), it was 2-0 for the opposition at half time. He just entered the locker room and said calmly: guys you are better than this. No tactical tweak no nothing and they came out and won 5-2.

or because the players don't trust the manager and don't understand the tactics they are trying to play and being shoehorned into
If you played football you understand that when you enter the field, it's just you and your teammates. Of course you listen to what the coach said before the game, but if you have value as a player, and your team has value as a whole you, even with an average manager you can win any game.

"My emotions are not important but to lose 6-0 is extremely embarrassing for any individual. Worst defeat for everyone at Tottenham. Intergrated two srikers. Adebayor gives us more attacking options. He's been training hard"

but but but - I said that when Harrys THFC decided to blow away the nine or so points to relinquish fourth spot and all I got in return was it was Harrys fault. We can pick and choose who to blame whenever we want.

Anyways personally I blame everyone but in reality AVB because he has had many chances to redeem his errors but he has shown no 'remorse' to do so. The guy needs someone to help him snap out of his ****.

I can imagine AVB looking at those figures, scratching his head, and thinking how can we lose by 6 with those stats -that's not what the football theory books say will happen.. Maybe we just need a little bit more possession and everything will be fine.

Oh and by the way, you don't lose 6-0 because of the tactics or the manager, you lose 6-0 because the team is shet and is way more weaker than the other team...

Let me give you some friendly advice son - watch the games, formulate an opinion and then post !

WALOB, we lost 6-0 because we cannot score at the key moments and we cannot defend when it matters. If we had made it 1-1 today in that purple patch after conceeding we may have had a chance to win and put them on the back foot.
We cannot score, we are too narrow, we hold possession and do not execute the killer pass until it is too late, we do not threaten no matter who is playing. This is all avb and the way he sets us up to play. It's not good enough and he is not earning his money.

I'm waiting for someonr to actually defend this performance today and tell us it's ok to be only 4 points from 2nd and that we need to be patient. This is all I have been reading on here for weeks. The problems are far mor potent than this - we look a shambles and have one penalty to show for 450 minutes of prem football. Even the most deluded of you need to wake up and recognise that there is a problem and its coming from the manager's chair!

1. don't be prick and assume i have never played football
2. football at the top level is not about "running around a bit" - it relies on a tactical approach and understanding of what your role is, the roles of your team mates and all having a collective understanding of how the team is supposed to play together

Or would you suggest play Lloris upfront, Defoe in goal and Lennon in cm?

i thought at half time he was going to do this - despite the abomination of the first half, i smiled at the move to 4-4-2 as it showed AVB was able to be less stubborn and give something different a try.

it lasted 15mins........

He is a reactive manager, you cant just say 'AVB isnt stuborn as he has changed to 442' as justification and evidence that he isnt stuborn. Being reactive is not showing that he isnt stubborn. Be proactive. I learnt being proactive in my job by how much I lost in terms of my work. He needs to do the same. Learn from your errors. Anyways - what is done is done.

i completely agree, it was more a hope that he was showing an ability to do something different
yeah, he is reactive - but he is even reluctant to change re-actively, less alone proactively!

The manager is to blame every time. It is the only solution, it is easier to change the manager than the whole team(I'm not saying the whole team is bad). AVB had the money, he bought which players he wanted so he is to blame if some of them are not of value...

IMO, offensively we are okay and I m looking for the reactions among our offensive pack
but defensively we are dog**** and our CB switched off today

1. I was not assuming never played football, if i would have said : " I you had played football you would have known that... ", that's a bit different to what I said isn't it ?
2. Of course the manager has a more important role at a top level, but in the end it's you and your team on the field, not the manager. Furthermore except for 1 or 2 players, everyone play in the position and have the roles they are most suited too. In the end it's MOST about you're ability on the ball and the quality a team has. As far as I'm concerned you could have put a monkey on the City bench and they still would have won this match...
