OMT Tottenham Hotspur Vs Emirates Marketing Project

Look guys, Rome wasn't built in a day. Man Utd didn't sack Ferguson at the beginning of his reign when Man Utd were p1ss poor did they?

But when Rome was being built, there was progress. There was moving forward. Are we getting better in your eyes?

We've just scored 0 again. Not because Emirates Marketing Project's defence is good. Demichellis, Nastitic, Lescott, Clichy and Pantamillon are not of the standard of Kompany. Not because they sat back against our attacking might (as some posters on here think every other team this season, including Arsenal, have done to us so far). And not because of bad luck or a great keeping performance. Because our attacking players barely troubled them. It was easy for them. I just checked and again, we had more possession than the other team. AT the moment, it is mostly pointless possession though.

As I said, I don't want him gone but there are gigantic questions to be asked. And the 'elephant in the room' (where btw, posters who thought we weren't title contenders were also ever so slightly ridiculed) is not whether we're title contenders but what AVB is doing to the team at the moment and what his plan is to improve it?

Oh, and if anyone pulls the 'remember the bad old 90's' line in the ensuing post-match discussion....if anyone shrilly screams 'remember how far we've come'....

We have lost 6-0 today. 6-0. That's a scoreline the old Spurs team would easily recognise. Hell, they might even be a wee bit offended. '6-0?!' cries Sheringham. 'We'd at least get one! 6-0, no f*cking way, mate!'

We have lost 6-0, and we have paid 100 million pounds for the privilege.

On the plus side only 4 points from 2nd....

However, I think it's more a case that we are lucky other teams have had poor results, in reality we have been woeful all season.

Has Navas & Aguero in FF Team
Also has Lloris in goal

Nullifies all won points.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Dreadful.

1. Abysmal movement and quick passing in final third.
2. If Ade is the answer 3-0 against Emirates Marketing Project whay wasn't he the answer when we were struggling to score in all the other games? At least put him on at a time when he can really make a difference.
3. Lamela might be playmaker -but he is no winger. Not in the premiership at least.

The players seemed lost all game. From 2-0 on already we knew we had lost, because we're not scoring goals. Seeing a team give up on a game that early is just sad. Usually, it's the sign of the beginning of the end. We'll see though, I don't think we'll sack AVB or that he'll resign because of this. But we need to pick up pretty soon.

They didn't and I admire your faith. I would counter that argument and say just because you keep faith with a manager doesn't mean you will get results.

Like I have said in other posts, its not just this season we have struggled to score its last season as well. One of AVB big plus points is he normally see's problems and fixes them. However he's seems oblivious to the fact we look like creating nothing in the final third, time and time again its always down the middle, with 4 or 5 players about 3 feet away from each other.

Pressure is building on him, and I think the little dig at the White Hart Lane fans at the start of this month is because he's trying to direct it onto someone else rather then take the blame for some very poor performances.

You make some fair points, but I will say this. Today was a blip, we will be right back on track this Thursday and we will head into next Sunday with our d!cks swinging.

Well it makes it wrong if the person youre bringing in is not as good as the previous Manager. If youre not going to bring in someone better than the previous Manager then of course it is a wrong decision. If you want to treat it as two seperate decisions then to sack Redknapp without bringing in someone better makes both decisions wrong. Theyre not mutually exclusive as far as im concerned.

Then we disagree, see my initial post for the reasons why

We'll have to see I guess. I hope so. People said the West Ham was our 'blip', the one game of the season like that that every team has. Then we went and had another at Saudi Sportswashing Machine. And now our worst thrashing since the brutal 90s. All in 12 games. And its not like we've swashbuckled in the other 9 games.

I really do hope he can improve the team though
