OMT Tottenham Hotspur Vs Emirates Marketing Project

Sorry but Paulinho needs to sit out for a good few games now

He has been poor but Brazil think he's good enough for their team, yet he looks ****e for us. Soldado scored goals for fun at Valencia, but is always quiet for us. Lamela great for Roma but invisible for us.

We have a decent squad; we're massively under-performing and that comes down to the manager

City haven't even had to play that well to score 5. The have great players, no doubt, but they have probably played better than this and dropped points.

We look so fragile, as if any progress that has been made has gone completely. When the eam went 2-0 down, you could see in our play that there was no belief that we could go and get a point still. 2-0 is never game over, just stay in the game, get back to 2-1 and then maybe the opposition will panic. Instead, we just rolled over really.

This isn't exactly unfamiliar territory for us, remember the FA Semi v Chelsea? We always seem to get a spanking sooner or later. But even then, we were in the game beyond the 1st half iirc.

Depressing.

5-0.....there's a whole lot wrong with that scoreline, but I'm seriously more concerned by that f*cking 0 than I am about the 5. So we can't score against park-the-bus sides. And even Arsenal were classed as a 'park the bus' side by some erudite posters here after that game. But City have not remotely 'parked the bus'. They've sat back, as all teams do, but when they get the ball they're fast and furious on the counter and definitely leave spaces at the back. But it turns out we can't deal with that either.

So who can we score against, exactly? A goalkeeper, alone by himself, on the training pitch?

Sigh. I'd take even one goal from open play now, to give me a bit of hope. Please, lads. Score.

This team is close to my preferred line up (other than lb and possibly eriksen instead of sig), so on the plus side at least I get to see it in action

Unfortunately I have to agree with you

I can't work out how were meant to be playing anymore

Its absolutely down to AVB, crush the play into a tight band BUT we don't have the skills to score in limited space. Absolutely nothing happens for us up front.
