Yes quite possibly. My fears are purely based on the limited viewing I've had of Hulk where he's done nothing for me to feel he is a player worth 30m+.
I guess if we are interested then AVB does, and I trust the clubs judgement.

Not sure he is officially licenced though as looking on the FIFA site and the Brazil page his name is nowhere.

you can understand how this doesnt help anyone feel like the is the good option though.
You havent really said much about him, what he offers , how he plays, where he plays , what he can do to a high level etc

Hulk comes across as a player who would be perfect for the Premier League. Built like a beast with a bit of brazilian flair.. has the ability to score long range goals and can take players on. He was great when playing for Porto but hasn't had a great time in Russia that's all. I seem to remember him getting racially abused there by his own fans? Not really a motivation to play well is it..
Baffled as to how people can say he's average and would turn down the chance to sign him, he would be great for us especially under AVB who he has worked with before.

One disappointing thing about AVB is that he has not used his influence to sign his former players from Porto like Moutinho and Hulk. Maybe Levy didn't provide the money needed to buy them all this while. But with the available money from the Bale sale, we should be going all out to buy players like Hulk, if he is interested to come.

I take it you don't remember the last day of the summer transfer window last year. I think we were still after him in January but Porto wouldn't sell before going into the knock stages of the CL and also Monaco offered Porto silly money for both him and James Rodríguez before this window opened.

Sorry. I think Tinneth has hit the tickle my balls with a feather. Considering we are not going for the 4-3-3 and something more counter attacking like 4-2-3-1 I think Hulk would be quite an ideal replacement for Bale as he offers the same sought of long range threat from the right whilst Soldado can replace his goals from close range.

Hulk is a good player, but I just dont think we need to sign two winger type inside forwards. I feel that with the introduction of Townsend, the purchase of Chadli and the hopefully expected signing of Lamela that we should just leave that position alone now.
I would prefer us to buy a played that be creative behind the striker. And also maybe some talented youngsters.

Isn't Terek the place Bentley spoke about where you get taken into the country in a bus with a tank as your security, then when your in the stadium the fans are all Chechen warriors wanting to rip your heart out and eat it.
I'd also like to point out that was probably his debut having signed not long before. New team, new environment. Bit harsh IMO to use that video as a case in point.

Scolari seems to prefer playing Fred and Jo ahead of Hulk as a central striker in addition of course to Damiao.
I've never been a big fan of Hulk, obviously a good player, but to me not worth the kind of money he would cost. Being able to also possibly do a job as a striker really doesn't change that much...

It all comes down to whether they think Townsend can take his new found situation and move with it IMO. For me as suggested previously my number one situation would always be to purchase two decent players that are 19/20 for similar money that Hulk would cost. But AVB and Baldini I trust.

I was actually talking about in an emergency situation due to injuries to other players. If he is bought it would obviously because he excelled under AVB on the right side of a front 3. He would not be my first choice but if AVB wants him I am in support, so far our signings this window have been good

My number one situation is to go with whoever AVB, Baldini and Levy chose to go with. I knew nothing about Capoue before we signed him so I am gonna trust the powers that be this window

need a better example. this looked more like a rugby match than a football game; the high frequency of physical abuse he received (shows him entering the game as a sub) would put anyone off his game. still very good support, link-up play for a striker. Good technique as set pieces too.

Here he is at his peak. The second goal is amazing but there's so many misplaced passes and runs down blind alleys. He's so frustrating. To me he's a 'highlights player' who'll look amazing on motd. I think when his pace goes then he'll be a completely nothing player. He's simply not worth 30m plus.
