*** Tottenham Hotspur vs Dinamo Tbilisi OMT ***

You gotta think some Georgian TV channel will be showing it. The only question is whether someone in Georgia bounces it up to one of the online streamers.

This Georgian TV channel has it scheduled

The channel also has a stream on its site, but I wont post a link to it here, because I dont want to get in trouble with the mods regarding streams.

If the mods give me permission, I can post the link.

My guess is they'll block access to international viewers for the match (they won't have a licence to broadcast the match worldwide, even if nobody else is showing it... worth trying on the night just in case they do though!). I guess if you found a Georgian proxy server that might work?

When my hometown club Aalborg from Denmark played Dila Gori from Georgia in one of the earlier rounds of the EL, the game was streamed without being blocked for international viewers. So I dont think, it will be blocked on thursday either.

Firstrow will have it.
I'm hoping to see Holtby get some minuites in this one.

Moderately strong team. We can't underestimate Tbilsi, so let's build up a commanding lead in the first leg and then play the squad players in the second.

I would rest Paulo as he played last midweek for Brazil, I would rather play Sandro. I would also play Carroll in place of Siggy.

Definitely would not play Lennon, Townsend has to play

Did he? Well, in that case I concur. As for Carroll, I'd rather give him the full ninety minutes in the second leg, and give Siggy another chance to impose himself against more manageable opponents in the first. Try to get him scoring early, to build his confidence for the coming season, seeing as he does seem to be a bit of a confidence player.

The big question is, who is going to score the goals for us in Europe ? Surely, we cannot be playing Soldado in all the games. It seems we have to rely on Defoe and Adebayor again !

More or less agree with the starting 11 - would start by playing those who were on the bench on Sunday so that they get a game. WOuldnt surprise me if Dembele played in place of CHadli in a 4-3-3 though given he came off early on Sun and perhaps Kaboul starting at CB

Tbh Defoe hasnt got a bad record in Europe for us. I can live with him upfront in EL matches

Last season I was fine with AVB playing our strongest side in the Europa but this season I hope barely any "first choice" players play unless they need to. Kids, squad players, first teamers needing fitness should play all the games, we have a stronger squad now anyway.

The way I see it is a pro should be fine playing 3 games in 2 weeks. So in a week where you have EL games in consecutive midweeks like we do this week and next, I dont see the problem with playing half the first choice team this Thurs (leaving half the other first choices out) and the swap them over next week
