Wow, that was incredible. To win so convincingly against someone as good as Djokovic shows his determination, and how great a player he actually is.

Something that very few people can say they have seen before, a British Mens Wimbledon Champion!

So in under a year he has won the Olympics, the US Open and now Wimbledon, he has learnt how to win BIG !!!!
 
That is massive, Djokovic just got destroyed out there. One of the most deserving winners of a big tournament in any sport that you'll ever see.
 
Who was it on here a few years a go said Murray would never win anything of note and not break into the top rankings?
 
Last time there was a British men's Wimbledon winner, Arsenal went on to win the League Championship & Spurs were relegated.

That is a gorilla off the back of British sport.

I'd love to see him become number one in the rankings in the next year or so.

He has now been in two finals each of the last two years, four of last five (injured for the other). While is finals record is still negative (2-5) he has lost to Federer (0-3) and Djokovic (2-2) who both rate highly in the history of tennis. Now the only question is can Murray push on and join them. His current run suggests he can.

Should do it this year if he can do well in the remaining masters series and needs to win us open again to maintain his ranking points

i was looking at £100.. only because if Murray won you got your money back.. Djokovic was 2/1.

Personally I thought Djokovic would win the whole thing

what was EW odds 1/2 ?? if worse than that you wouldnt have even got your stake back
 
Andy Murray donated all his £1.6M #Wimbledon winnings to Cancer Research and care at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
