Manager Sack Watch

Hope they snap up Benitez, he would take them down. I like McCarthy but I don't like Wolves, they always fold against the lower teams and yet they play like Brazil whenever they play us.

I'm much rather Wolves go down than Wigan. I know Wigan don't really deserve a PL team as their fanbase is one man and his dog, but it SHOULD be an easy 6 points every season even though they beat us at the lane last season.

Can see the logic unfortunately.

When I look at Wolves lineup, they seem like they should be doing better, and in a lot of games they are in it for the majority of the time, but still lose at end.

5-1 to a fellow relegation candidate at home?

Managers come and go. McCarthy got them up and has spent a bit of money compared to the teams around, but there are no signs of improvement. It was about time for a new man to have a go. Imo Wolves should be comfortable in mid table.

Now the last time we won the league & tons of other honors we were managed by Yorkshiremen - Bill Nic & Burkinshaw (Scarbro' and Barnsley). So why not Warnock or McCarthy?

;)

McCarthy conducting himself like a gentleman, which is about as unsurprising a thing as will happen this season.

He has done a great job at Wolves. They are probably reached the point where it is a bit stale to get out of the poor run of form they are on. But even so they need to move very fast.

Feel for McCarthy to be honest; he was always honest and straightforward. Wolves have some utter brick in that squad mixed in with the half decent.

I like the guy, and especially his youtube clips which are hilarious.

His team let him down for the last few matches but in the West Brom game they were very unfortunate. Plenty of deflections and unlucky incidents. A 5-1 scoreline did not reflect the way the match went. Anyway I think they sacked him too early but I always think that. Time will tell.
