Manager Sack Watch

have to feel a bit for mick. seems like a pretty genuine guy, but wolves haven't received the rub of the green so far this season.

im sure he'll get a job at a championship club somewhere... best of luck.

Thought they'd bought well the last two season. They spent a good amount of money, but they' were good, solid performers. Strangely Wolves have just gotten worse.

Mick for England!

feel sorry for him actually, good manager, Wolves are mad if they replace him with Bruce, that would guarantee finishing bottom imo

I'm so glad we're not part of the average manager exchange program also known as the mid table to relegation zone of the Premier League just about every year.

Terrible decision.
He got them promoted and keep them up for 2 seasons.
He still might have kept them up this season.

I like Mick he always seemed a good manager for a mid table team but he has never had the fianacial backing to do what was needed.

If they go down - Ferguson is definitely one player I would consider as striking cover, especially if Saha leaves at the end of the season. Looked lively in most game I've seen amidst a sea of brick

He created probably the best Wolves side of the modern era and I'm sure they'll remember him fondly. But he'd lost the dressing room and things were falling to pieces. Their only hope of staying up was to change things up and hope that a new manager in a honeymoon period can lift the squad to perform over the last few months.

14 points from 22 games is absolutely shocking. Then a shocking result at home, in a local derby, was the final nail in the coffin.

do you mean fletcher? if so i agree, always looked a handful when we've played against him, even for Burnley

5 seasons in charge, a promotion and 2 successful Prem. relegation fights. I don't really know what more you can expect or what more he could have done to be honest.

Every time I've seen Wolves the last season or two I thought they've had something about them, but the results stayed relentlessly poor. I dunno, I'm really not sure MM got the rub of the green at all there and I do feel he's unlucky in many ways.

Spot on been very unlucky thought he has spent what little money he has had wisely as well. The table doesn't lie I suppose but I think he earned the right to stay and fight this relegation scrap

I think they may have sacked him and are looking at Sunderland for inspiration of the managerial change getting them points for survival. I take it they are not looking at whats happened at QPR.

This.

They always seem to give terrific performances but not much goes their way.

Fletcher Doyle Jarvis all good players who would do well in a better team imo

triffics a bit of a stretch. they just got rimmed by Brom at home, and lost the previous 3. they havnt pushed on since the draw with us, confidence has gone and they got Bassong in.

I think he was asking for it. If we lost 5-1 at home to Brom we would 100% be asking for a new solution.
