Ah, we're so pathetic towards the end of games, how the fudge can we concede two goals in the closing minutes? Embarrassing.

Sigh. Two things, then.

1) If we were to lose to two injury-time goals, I'd rather it be to Everton than anyone else. They've impressed me this season, and they're the least offensive team I can think of in a sea of tossers.

2)We were competitive, and full value for a point, if not more. Sometimes, however, things don't go your way; or rather, they go against you because some football GHod stubbed his toe at the Lane and decided to curse us forever.

Pick up, dust off, move on.
 
A minute to go and we are 6 points clear of Everton and joint 3rd.

I just knew we were going to concede when Caulker hacked the ball away as Lloris was screaming for him to leave it... gutted.

So the run continues, fingers crossed AVB can work out how to put an end to this habit of conceding late goals this season... :-k

This was actually a brick performance. We showed no ambition first half and second half no ambition. We scored at a great time (yet again) but the mongs at the back fudged up for us.

Why are we playing panic football? When we lose we do fudgein lose with style ill give us that but fudgein hell we always look like we are never in control of a game and constantly panicking.

Anyways onwards AND upwards
 
3 wins on the bounce, we grabbed a lead then this ... How we bounce back is very important, in fact it'll define us. A very bad way to end, gut wrenching ... But it's the back line that keeps me awake at night - looks like it'll continue to do so. Gggnnnaaahhh
 
In truth would another win have papered over the cracks and given us more false hope ? If people are honest, in the last few weeks, despite the wins, we have veered between crap and mediocre for the most part. That type of 'form' was never going to be a long term sucess. Things have been bad all season............some fans are just too blinkered to see it.

winning the game, check... lose the game with mins to go, check.... remembers what team he supports, check.
 
Decent away performance at a tough ground I thought, same as most of our away games this season.

I have to say its Caulker again hacking clear after Lloris shouted for it, didn't the same thing happen only 2/3 weeks back (cant remember the game)

I hate stats like this. The more they get circulated, the more it takes root, the more it becomes self-fulfilling.

YAAARRRGGGHHHH.
 
On balance, a draw would have been a fair result today, so losing in the manner we did does seem a little harsh.

But once again we paid the price for trying to hold on to our lead, rather than trying to kill the game off by scoring some more.

When will we ever learn?
