Benny/Laser

GHod how childish it was. Go to a football match and enjoy the match, and dont behave like a silly cu*t. oh wait... it's Liverpool.

If you're trying to shine a laser at the pitch, surely you've got to lift it above the heads of the people in front of you. A decent club with decent fans would report that clam when they saw it.

Why don't you contact the police and make a complaint, it is not just down to ekotto you can do it as a member of the public.

Those lasers can be lethal i watched a t.v. show once where some guy downed a plane in america using one of them things.

Is that not taking the demonstration a little far?

Sky wouldnt mention it, if they did, The Victims FC would have bombarded them with self pity emails for the next month.

Loved the way Benny just squinted it off like "Wizzout speak, I call you mug. LOL"

Benny can stare out lasers, but if it had been Sandro he'd have reversed it onto the Mickey Mouser!

Liverpool fans are clams, and the TV pundits in their 40-60's remembering their Gory, sorry, Glory years at LFC just can't bring themselves to criticise the bestest, real'est and original'est club in the whole wide universe, ever.

Am not the least bit suprised.

Hmm, was Suarez on the bench at the time??? Maybe it's another way to show how fond you are of black people in Uruguay??
:-k

Perhaps he meant a radio controlled plane

Who would you take down a jet with that?

I know for a fact, that in periods it has been a huge problem in Copenhagen International Airport that commercial jets approaching runway have been attempted blinded with lasers. It's a dead serious problem and it's bad for your eyes.

If bad weather or if it disorients the pilot - other senses can be affected if you lose your ability to see instantly - it can be absolutely lethal during approach.

Our police attorney have already said, that anyone arrested for this offence will be accused through the terrorism section of the criminal act.

So yes, it's possible to down a jet and yes, people take it quite seriously.

My Dad (an Orient fan) actually phoned to tell me he found the coverage so pro Liverpool he had turn the sound off and stick radio 5 on instead. It was laughable that the Spurs defence and midfield were playing great stuff in the first half and all the pundits went on about at half time was how Liverpool could win the game and what Andy Carroll did.

You learn something new every day

I retract my earlier comment

In my job, we get to see monthly pilot reports from certain airlines. Covers things like technical problems, aborted landings, weather issues, and incorrect documentation etc etc.
One of the things that appears frequently is laser attacks on approach to landing........more often than you would realise. Very dangerous, of course and I'm surprised it isn't reported more.

Majority of these attacks happen in Spain and italy, as far as I recall.

So what do these people hope to achieve? The death of a large number of people (inc. kids)??

Danish, I think Denmark is right to treat it in that way, name and shame the mofos.

In this day and age, is there not a pair of glasses that could be worn to reflect the laser light but still allow good vision ?

Probably.

Also (and I realise that I come across as a 60 yo bitter git here) never underestimate just how big c*nts moderne day people are. Just don't.

I work with all sorts of injuries claims, primarily industrial and/or crime victims and you'd be suprised what people put each other through, pure strangers and for no good or bad reason at all.

Sometimes in political debates I come across as a fierce defender of democracy. At other times however I do silently think that about 30-40% of my countrymen should be put down like mad dogs. Seriously, some people ... :-&
