Troy Parrott

There's some Preston ITK doing the rounds saying he's going there - they are likely to struggle this season so not sure that is the best move for him at this stage

I don't think that will be a problem anywhere in the championship, he's plenty good enough to star at that level now

I'd agree but we've seen before clubs take a player on loan. Then someone becomes available that they buy and the loan option becomes secondary (as they want to use the player they bought). Nile john last season.

Preston looks a good move for him, championship football and they look like a team that will play him regularly, their manager likes to play attacking football and outscore teams.

Hopefully does well and can be a perfect replacement for moura. Cover the front 3, hg too.

It's definitely a big season for him. Last time he went to Millwall in the championship he failed to score in half a season... and then only got 2 in the 2nd half a season at Ipswich in League One! Hopefully he has improved and developed a lot after this last year at MK Dons.

When I first saw Parrott he played like a clone of Harry Kane, same finishing style and good use of his body to protect the ball, I suppose he had watched Harry so much he tried to copy his game.

Think he came to the realisation he only has one shot at this. He did an interview with ally gold and talked about it.

Glad he’s given a chance to develop, don’t think he’ll ever be good enough for us, but then again I said the same about Kane so I’m probably not the smartest guy to listen to. Hope he smashes it at Preston :)

He has. His loan to MK was a real success. His attitude has totally changed and he gives 100% whereas previously he thought he could get by on just talent. He performed really well and also looks to be a starter for Ireland now.
He should be a certain starter for PNE and hopefully, he'll have a season similar to Skipp at Norwich and this time next year will be looking to start the season fighting for regular game time for us.
