Christian Eriksen

When had eriksen ever been able to play in a CM two?

Both under Pochettino and Mourinho he did play that role at times. From what I can remember only rarely as a starter (at most), either as a sub or being moved to that role later in games as we changed things around.

Just about every game he plays for Denmark he plays as a CM. Do you actually ever watch football??

The post was about a midfield two.

When did he last start a game for Denmark in a midfield two?

Just about every game under denmarks previous coach Åge Hareide, as he rarely played anything other than some variant of 4-4-2.

It was Delaney and Hojberg whenever I watched Denmark as a pivot
Mostly Eriksen and Højbjerg as cm, with Delaney as holding midfielder. That's how they played under Hareide from 2016 until after the 2020 euros. I believe the previous Danish coach, peter møller, mostly played 4-3-3, with Eriksen as one of the midfield 3.

Do like the espn pundits.

These two are the best of a very poor bunch of braying donkeys who suck up to the so-called big clubs. Oh, and the big girl at the end of the clip asking viewers to subscribe? Yeah, she's the macaron who childishly mocked Harry Kane's speech impediment with Mark Ogden a couple of seasons back.

Lol.

IMO they have been playing 4-4-1-1 with eriksen in the 1
You can call if 4-5-1 I’d you want but again IMO eeisken isn’t playing CM
I do agree he has played alongside Hojberg

He asked for examples of Eriksen playing in a 2.
You said Eriksen played with Hojbjerg with Delaney behind them. That is not a 2.

Just worried about Erikssen going off the boil like before and reactivating some bad blood with players who were around since then. I mean he appeared quite isolated and unhappy towards the end of his stay with us

Don’t think there was bad blood? Kane and him still spoke after he left

Im sure most the players are aware he has the ability to win us games, so they won’t care even if there was an issue.

Certainly not with Kane, but there were all kinds of nasty rumours involving certain players flying around at the time. Eriksen later went out of his way to show he was on good terms with the implicated players but there's little doubt in my mind he was suffering some kind of depression that negatively impacted his performance levels in his last year with us.

I've played in a few teams where a player has left because he's felt that he's better than everyone else. Then when he's tried to come back a year or two later with his tail between his legs, things never work out well.
