Richarlison

I don't rate him to improve us, I definitely don't at the cost of 60m, that's far from OTT

It's £50m being quoted. The 60m is euros, because it's from a Portuguese source.

Everton still owe us up-to £40m for Alli, so I'd expect some of those soon-to-be-met clauses might be used as an offset.

throw winks in the deal and we don’t spend a penny but upgrade

Still makes him a player that conte thinks will improve the squad.

Thinks/hopes/trusts

It doesn't really change anything - Conte wants a player to fill a hole in the squad, he either specifically highlights a player he wants or gives the DoF a list of criteria (age/prem proven etc) and goes with what he comes back with as he trusts the opinion of the DoF/that's the setup here.

I'd take him in a heartbeat. He's a brickhouse but id be happy for him to be our brickhouse. Didn't Barca try to buy him for a fortune (100m) a few years ago. And Madrid have also been linked.

We've had years of the likes of Janssen and Vinicius as our options if Kane gets injured. This would be a massive, massive upgrade on that level of player. I'll trust Levy to ensure the price/deal isn't extortionate.

Not how i understand it. Yes he will give a list of types of players he needs. Paratici will then get a list, who's available, in our price range and is interested. Then they go through them together to see which would be the best fits. Paratici will then go and try and get the deals done on the preferred players.

Conte is in charge of who plays. Paratici isn't going to get a player that conte will not play. He knows him.

Has a good goal scoring record for Brazil.

14 in 36 games. 1 every 2.57 games.
Jesus 19 in 56, 1 in every 2.94 games.
Raphina 3 in 9, 1 in 3 games.

Dunno how much was sub though. Or how many as cf.

Would definitely be a massive squad upgrade imo and a better more experienced player than raphinha at Leeds who would be a similar price.

would prefer Jesus but I don’t think rashford is any better than richarlieson. And I doubt we can afford Jesus’ wages

Only on around £90k pw at the moment so wages won't be a problem, even with a hefty pay rise

Genuine player who can push for a starting place or some quality coming off the bench. Win win.
Gone are the days when you look at winks warming up and thinking ffs what is he going to do to change the game.

A diver and a whinger. Not for me Clive

Exactly, you think having him stuck behind Deki, Kane and Son on the bench would a good thing when he is a known strop head.

Also I cant remember a time anyone on here said "I tell you what I would take Him" before today. Literally on no ones wish list unless your talking the internet wish where you hope for better and he rocks up

Given we're in the CL, Richarlison would get plenty of games as those 4 would rotate and for every big game Conte would decide who is on best form or best suited to beat the opposition

Most teams revert to type and their strongest side in big games regardless, the fear factor dictates that so unless he is pushing he will get the crap games and comps, does not strike me as that type of player, if anything based on reports he is a trouble maker no?

I'm just explaining that there's a difference between a player he actively wants to sign and a list of players he is happy to take one from because they tick the right boxes.

Trusting in Conte on transfers is as much about trusting the rest of the committee as well in that respect

I cant say that I follow opposition players personalities closely enough to comment. From what I've seen on the pitch, he seems determined and driven given he works hard; he seems to have an edge to his personality like Dele and Lamela did but we've always been a bit soft so that's not a bad thing.

In terms of whether he'd play, I wouldn't say that its a given that Kulu would get in ahead of Richarlison in our strongest 11
